1 American Stage in the Park: Mamma Mia!

Grab a blanket and your friends for an evening of live theater under the stars! American Stage in the Park brings comedies & modern musicals to Demens Landing Park in St. Pete each spring. This year, watch the enchanting tale of love, laughter, family, and friendship as they present Mama Mia! on select nights From April 10 – May 12.
The best sand sculpture festival in Florida is happening on America's #1 Beach! View a stunning display of larger than life sand sculptures created by world-renown sand artists, enjoy free live music, fireworks, kid's play zones and so much more!
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer & 10 time Grammy Award Winner Carlos Santana and his band Santana will be bringing the heat to Al Lang Stadium! Don't miss them perform passion-filled songs from their 40 years of career on April 18th at 8 p.m.
Enjoy the soulful sounds of the Betty Fox Band on Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. at Largo Central Park. Named Best of the Bay's "Best Local Blues Band," Betty Fox has a subtle stage presence reminiscent of Natasha Bedingfield with a combination of blues, soul, and funk! This event is free to attend.
Celebrate Easter and "zip on" over to Empower Adventures Tampa Bay for some unique (and messy) fun. As you zip though the course, set your sights on the bulls-eye and toss colorful Easter eggs in their Eggsplosion cornhole game.
Bring your appetite to Vinoy Park for this food truck rally featuring chicken wings and craft beer! From 6 – 11 p.m., more than 15 food trucks will be dishing out special chicken wings and chicken inspired dishes as well as their normal cuisine. Live music, beer, and craft vendors. This event is free admission and family and pet friendly.
Head to Safety Harbor the third Friday of each month for an evening of live music, shopping, and dining. Main Street closes off between 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. and is lined with live bands, vendors featuring arts, crafts, and food, and local businesses and restaurants open late for your enjoyment. The best part, it's free!
Celebrate Earth Day by exploring Sunken Gardens' winding paths, exotic birds, turtles, butterflies, and flowers on a self-guided scavenger hunt! Solve mysteries like which of their flamingos recently laid an egg and what power can their Growing Stone give you!
You won't be surprised to learn that St. Pete/Clearwater – with all of its artsy, waterfront allure – hosts one of the nation's most magnetic art festivals. Mainsail Arts Festival, held annually over two days in April, routinely draws 100,000 attendees to downtown St. Pete's Vinoy Park, where 200-plus visual artists and craftspeople display their work against sparkling Tampa Bay. Better yet: Admission to the festival is FREE.
