The St. Pete-Clearwater event scene heats up in summer with St Pete Pride, the largest Pride event in the country. Summer is a sweet time of year, so we're celebrating the season at the Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival and the fun St. Pete Cupcake Contest. Of course, summertime is also when we get to enjoy America's favorite pastime by going to a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game. If that weren't enough, there's the daily (yes, we said daily) festival celebrating the sinking of the sun, Sunsets at Pier 60, where folks can gather on the beach, listen to live local musicians, watch street artists perform, and buy unique souvenirs from local vendors.
