The St Pete Pride month-long festival is back in its full glory in 2024, celebrating its 22nd anniversary year!

In June, rainbows don't just decorate the skies, they add welcome color to our streets, clubs, restaurants, events and even adorn our homes in St. Pete-Clearwater. Don't miss this exciting month of events celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and allies, throughout St. Pete and surrounding areas!

Find official St. Pete Pride events below, and check the official St Pete Pride website for last-minute updates about entertainment schedules and more. You can also check out other Pride events throughout the community

Getting to St. Pete Pride Events

Parking is limited both downtown near the parade route in the Waterfront Museum District, and in the Grand Central District, where several events will be held. Consider carpooling, ride shares, scooting or biking, or taking public transportation.

PSTA is the official transportation partner of St Pete Pride!  Note that on Saturday, June 22, 2024, the SunRunner, the Central Avenue Trolley and PSTA Route 9 will be free.

During the month of June, all PSTA routes, including the Central Avenue Trolley and the SunRunner, will be operating on their normal schedules. See schedules and a map to plan transportation during your visit. You can also review PSTA's "rider tips" page to find information on how to pay your fare, how to ride, wheelchair accessibility, and the customer service line in case you have questions.

Parking Tips for St Pete Pride on June 22

New this year, park at Tropicana Field Lots on June 22: Park for free on Saturday, June 22 from 6 a.m. to midnight in lots 5, 6, and 7 of the Tropicana Stadium lot. These lots are immediately adjacent to the SunRunner, which will be free as well. No overnight parking will be permitted.

Park and Ride from St. Pete High School on June 22: Parade goers can catch a free ride to the parade from St. Pete High at 2501 5th Ave N., St. Pete, at a designated stop. No overnight parking. The park-and-ride shuttles from this location will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on June 22. If you prefer to take public transportation to St. Pete High to catch a shuttle, PSTA Route 9 serves St. Pete High and will be free.

Downtown parking near the parade route: The parking garages at Southcore and Sundial are closest to the parade route. Be aware that local garages will charge special event pricing.

St. Pete Pier on June 22: While the St. Pete Pier parking lots are located very close to the parade route, you should know that these lots will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 4:30 p.m. on June 22. So if you do park in a Pier lot, you will need to do so before that time, and you won't be able to retrieve your car until the parade concludes and roads are cleared.

Parking and Transportation Tips for the St Pete Pride Street Fair on June 23

On June 23, 2024, Central Ave and all cross streets between 1st Ave N. and 1st Ave S. will be closed starting at 20th Street and ending at 31st Street for the Street Fair!

The best option for parking this day will be along 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S, along with neighborhood parking. However, we highly recommend choosing public transit such as the SunRunner or the Central Ave Trolley. You can also bike or scoot to the event. Rideshares are another option.

Helpful Tips for Enjoying St Pete Pride

  • It's June. In Florida. So... remember to hydrate often (and we aren't talking about cocktails or brews... you'll need plenty of water as well to enjoy Pride days and nights).
  • Wear light, comfortable clothing (in rainbow hues, of course!) and don't forget a hat or umbrella for shade.
  • Adopting a motto of patience and kindness will go a long way to making this your best Pride event yet!
  • Take breaks from the excitement and the heat to explore LGBTQ+ owned businesses, visit wonderful museums, or see a gorgeous sunset at the beach.
