Gulfport, a famously LGBTQ+-friendly community, will celebrate Gulfport Pride with two special events. Admission is free for both. Make sure to wear your colors to these exciting events!
Pride Parade
Sunday, May 31st from 10:30AM - 12:30PM: Make plans to come out to the Gulfport Pride Parade! This is a spirited community parade with decorative floats and themes celebrating community pride — fun for all ages through downtown Gulfport.
Pride Street Festival
Saturday, June 6th from 12 - 7PM: Continuing celebrating Pride at the Gulfport Pride Street Festival on Beach Blvd in downtown Gulfport! Expect live entertainment, music and other fun, as well as a street market with more than 150 vendors. This annual event, which celebrates and showcases LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly people and businesses, is a fundraiser for the LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Public Library and for local nonprofits.
In addition to 150-plus local makers and small businesses taking part in the street market, many businesses along Beach and Shore boulevards are planning live music, "fun-raisers" and more fun and games. There's even a local business decorating contest, plus two main stages and, of course, a marching band.
