Beach by Beach: What to Expect on Your Visit

Beach Rules & Regulations

As we return to our favorite sandy shores for fun in the sun, please remember that these are unprecedented times. If we all do our part to be courteous and stay safe, we can continue to enjoy America's Best Beaches. Please be aware that some of our beach communities have individual circumstances - so we have included details that beachgoers might need to know about restrictions or limited amenities.

Public beach visitors must adhere to CDC social distancing guidelines:

  • Stay 6 feet apart from others.
  • No group gatherings larger than 10 people.
  • Face masks are recommended for all those in face-to-face interactions and where you can’t abide by social distancing guidelines.

Public beach restrooms must also meet CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfection.

Parking

All public parking lots will be open. Pinellas County is encouraging people to use the ParkMobile App to pay for parking to promote touchless payment options. You can download the app in Apple’s App Store or on Google Play.

How to use the Park Mobile App:

  • Enter the zone number posted on signs around the parking meter in the ParkMobile parking app.
  • Select the amount of time you want to park and start your session.
  • You will get alerts when time is about to expire so you can extend your parking session.
