Things to Do in Clearwater
There’s no shortage of incredible things to do in sunny Clearwater. Go for a greenery-filled walk at Cliff Stephens Park, grab a pint for Crooked Thumb Brewery, keep an eye out for wildlife at Moccasin Lake Nature Park, and catch a game at BayCare Ballpark, just to start.
Looking for those picture-perfect beaches that Clearwater is known for? Cross the bridge over to Clearwater Beach! While technically a separate neighborhood, Clearwater Beach is a barrier island home to miles of sunny shorelines, all under the same name of Clearwater Beach. Or head a bit south to the neighboring barrier island of Sand Key for even more beautiful beaches.
While simply soaking up the sun and swimming in the turquoise waters is a great way to enjoy the best of Clearwater Beach, there are a few unique ways to head out on the gulf as well. Hop aboard a cocktail-filled tiki boat cruise, go on a relaxing sunset sail, or polish your eye patch for a ride on Captain Memo’s Pirate Cruise. And as an added water-related bonus, Clearwater Beach is also home to the family-friendly Clearwater Marine Aquarium, where you can learn about all sorts of aquatic animals–from otters to dolphins.
