A crowd of some 400 industry partners gathered at Clearwater Beach's Sheraton Sand Key Resort last night for the official unveiling of the newest edition of Gulf to Bay, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater’s award-winning destination magazine published by the Tampa Bay Times.
The splashy debut kicked off the area’s second annual "Best of St. Pete/Clearwater" Awards, which honored winners in 30 categories voted on by residents and visitors alike, from Best Hotel and Best Restaurant, to Best Dog Hangout, Best Food Mural and more. More than 100,000 votes were cast in this year's competition.
More than 225,000 copies of this year's Gulf to Bay hits 13 markets across the country on Sunday---including Chicago, Minneapolis and Boston---on the heels of record cold temperatures. In addition, state-wide distribution will take place throughout the year in Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Daytona, Sarasota, Tampa Bay and West Palm Beach
