Rooted in resilience, creativity, and community, “No Shade, All Power” honors the journeys of Black queer individuals—past, present, and future at the Shades of Pride Festival!
Through immersive experiences such as a vibrant cocktail hour featuring Black artistry, a powerful panel unpacking sexual health and the urgent realities of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, and a breathtaking Ballroom demonstration that pays homage to ballroom culture, this event weaves together empowerment and expression. There will cultural food to accompany you on your journey through the Black Queer experience!
The day crescendos with a high-energy party where the beats, vibes, and moves will reflect the limitless potential of Black queer joy. “No Shade, All Power” invites attendees to celebrate their truth, stand in their power, and amplify the voices that push the culture forward.
