Top Things to Know about the 2025 Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival
There's no better way to see Clearwater Beach's famous white sand in action. This 17 day festival brings 17 skilled sand artists to craft masterpieces using 1,000 tons of sand in a 24,000 square-foot walk-through exhibit near Pier 60.
The festival also includes a children's play area, street performers, artisans, live entertainment, weekend fireworks, sand sculpting classes, speed sand demonstrations, and a master sand sculpting competition. Bring your camera and create your own story or take advantage of the complimentary photo with a general admission ticket.
Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit Hours:
- Sunday through Thursday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
- Easter Sunday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

The Baystar VIP Lounge serves food and beverages after 5 p.m. Fridays - Sundays (closed on Easter Sunday, March 31).

Parking
The closest parking to the event is the Pier 60 lot ($3/hr). It is located just southwest of the roundabout, beach side. There is some street parking north and south of the roundabout, two public parking garages located near the venue on Coronado (Hyatt Regency and Surf Style) and one public parking garage located on north beach in the Pelican Walk Plaza. Ferry & Trolley Service
Skip the drive and don't worry about parking with the Clearwater Ferry or Jolley Trolley. Both can help you avoid traffic and save you time and money.
- The Ferry operates Fridays, Saturday and Sundays during the Sugar Sand Festival.
- The Trolley has a continuous schedule that runs every day along the beach and from surrounding coastal areas. Check their daily routes to see where you can hop aboard.
