Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach

We visited this property for a family vacation for three days. Overall, we really appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel, the amenities (particularly the pool, bar and coffee shop) and the location of the hotel being central to Clearwater beach, and very walkable. Additionally, the pool staff was outstanding. We had many days of on and off rain, and they handled closing and reopening the pool very well and operated with a true customer- first orientation. The only downsides were the $40 per day parking. I understand this is prime beach parking but feel like they is a little high for guests staying at the hotel. Additionally, while I understand checkin is not until 4pm and there are a lot of guests, our initial arrival was hectic. The valet individuals, while helpful, wanted to take our car but our room was not yet ready so while we were able to have our luggage stored, we also bought groceries and didn’t hold on to our swim gear (our fault). However, I felt like the valet parking and required bell service made it more difficult to ease into our vacation particularly when we didn’t have a room available yet. At times, while it felt like they had standard processes and procedures for valet/bell service, it made it over complicated at times. This place would really excel with more customer friendly, guest- oriented service, which we did see from many staff but not consistently.

The location is absolutely amazing, right next to Pier 60. Hotels are very clean with great balcony’s, the workers all kind and help taking care of the beach, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Docks poolside bar is so good and will bring to your chairs poolside. By far the best service location and cleanliness! They also have daily activities for litters and their spa here is amazing. We will be coming back!

We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach from Sunday, June 28th through Wednesday, July 1st, and I truly don't have one bad thing to say about our trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience was outstanding. We were able to check in early, and the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The valet team was professional, friendly, and available 24 hours a day, which made coming and going so convenient. This trip was a special gift for my son's birthday and his 8th-grade graduation. The hotel surprised us by sending a slice of chocolate cake and a handwritten card to our room without us mentioning anything. That thoughtful gesture meant so much and made his celebration even more memorable. One of the best perks of staying here was having complimentary access to two beach chairs and an umbrella each day. The pool hours were also fantastic—it opens early and stays open late, giving everyone plenty of time to relax and cool off. The rooms are beautiful, and most offer incredible views of the Gulf or the marina. Watching the sunsets from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The beach itself was perfect, with the water at a comfortable 82 degrees during our stay. Everything about this vacation exceeded our expectations. Staff on Wednesday-June 25, 2026 was phenomenal, they went above and beyond, making you feel like royalty. Everyone from valet to check-in and everything in between were personable and kind. Staff on Thursday, not so much. Valet staff were fantastic, Anthony, Lance, and Damon! Christian at check-in was super accommodating at kind. Food, delicious. Location couldn’t be better! Pool was perfect They provide umbrellas and 2 chairs at the beach which was the cherry on top Highly Recommend. Will be staying again.
