For more than 40 years, the historic John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk in Madeira Beach has been transformed into a venue for the John’s Pass Seafood Festival, a huge celebration of fresh Gulf seafood. The three-day outdoor event features hundreds of local vendors offering an abundance of seafood, an art and crafts show, live music and many family-friendly activities, including some Halloween-themed events.

Festival Hours

  • Friday, Oct. 24: noon to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 25: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 26: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The festival will take place rain or shine.

This festival is very popular, so that means that parking can be a challenge. Check out these great options for getting to John's Pass Village & Boardwalk for the event, including free shuttles and public transportation.

Ride the Suncoast Beach Trolley from Local Beach Communities

The Beach Trolley is easy to ride and inexpensive, and runs from Clearwater Beach south all the way to St. Pete Beach and back again. It's a great way to get to John's Pass Seafood Festival. Trolleys run every 20 to 30 minutes. See routes and fare information for the Suncoast Beach Trolley.

Park & Ride the Free Shuttle to the Festival

Event-goers are encouraged to park and take the FREE shuttle, available from Madeira Beach City Hall (300 Municipal Dr., Madeira Beach 33708), running each day of the festival. 

Another free shuttle stop will be available on Saturday and Sunday only, running from Madeira Beach Fundamental School (591 Tom Stuart Causeway, Madeira Beach 33708).

Riding Public Transportation from St. Petersburg

If you're coming from St. Pete, you can ride the SunRunner from multiple stops west to St. Pete Beach. (See SunRunner map and rate information.) You'll need to hop off at the Boca Ciega Drive stop on St. Pete Beach. From there, you can walk a block or so west to find a Suncoast Beach Trolley stop at 75th Ave. and Blind Pass Road, which you can take to John's Pass Village & Boardwalk.
