After 104 days of closure for a major remodel, Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill has officially reopened and is better than ever. General Manager Chris Tiemeir shared that while the storms created unexpected delays and challenges, the team pushed through, making significant improvements that have already been met with enthusiastic feedback from loyal customers.

The remodel included both visible upgrades and behind-the-scenes improvements. "The kitchen is like brand new," Chris noted, adding that updates to the furniture, chairs, and a fresh coat of paint have given the space a clean, fun, and vibrant feel. "It’s nice and fresh now, and people have been really positive about the changes we’ve made."

Known for their legendary grouper sandwiches, Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill continues to deliver on its reputation for fresh, high-quality seafood. “We catch our own grouper and serve it up grilled, deep-fried, Cajun, Caribbean jerk, or buffalo-style,” Chris explained. With stone crab season in full swing, customers can also enjoy fresh stone crab claws—something Chris describes as a highlight of the season, with a great haul so far this year.

Guests have already returned in full force, enjoying cold drinks, delicious food, and unbeatable beach views. "Everybody’s down here having a great time," Chris said, inviting locals and visitors alike to experience the updated space.

Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill is ready to welcome everyone back to Clearwater Beach for a fresh new vibe, fan-favorite dishes, and the laid-back atmosphere it’s always been loved for.
