The Valspar Championship returns to Tampa Bay March 16 through March 22, 2026 featuring the world’s top-ranked golfers, as well as exciting ways for fans to participate in and experience the action.

The PGA TOUR® event takes place on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Golf Resort, a Salamander Golf and Spa Resort, with four championship rounds of golf. Attendees of all ages can experience many of the exciting activities on-site. Innisbrook is located in beautiful Palm Harbor, Florida.

Top Things to Know About the PGA Valspar Championship

  • The PGA Valspar Championship offers more than an opportunity to watch top golf pros battle at one of only five Florida stops on the PGA Tour. The March 16-22 event is held at the Innisbrook Resort in St. Pete-Clearwater, home of America’s Favorite Beaches and many opportunities for great dining and outdoor adventure. There are several days of golf events and tournaments preceding the Valspar, but most are private events. The official tournament begins on Thursday, March 19 and runs through Sunday, March 22.
  • Innisbrook’s 900 wooded acres include the grand stage for the tournament, the Copperhead course, which will be lined with an incredible variety of food and beverage options each day, and will host a concert on Saturday evening, March 21, starring country music stars Tyler Hubbard and Lee Brice.
  • The competition offers drama that even casual golf fans can enjoy. The Copperhead course (named for the venomous snake) is ranked No. 7 for difficulty on the PGA Tour. It’s long, at more than 7,200 yards, and features undulations and tight fairways lined with pine trees. The course’s challenging final three holes can make for last-minute changes in the leaderboard.
  • New for 2026: the Valspar Championship will celebrate everyday heroes (healthcare workers and first responders with ID) by offering free "Heroes Appreciation Tickets" to the first 500  heroes each day, Thursday, March 19 - Sunday, March 22. (If you miss the first 500, "heroes" can still get $20 off per ticket.) There will also be Heroes Appreciation Suite on the 8th green, with free beverages and food.

 

Entertainment

Tyler Hubbard and Lee Brice will be headliners at the Valspar LIVE presented by Chick-fil-A concert on Saturday, March 21. No special tickets will be needed; the concert is included with a Saturday ticket or credential. The concert will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. Food and drink concessions will be open during the concert.

Valspar Ticket Information

A variety of ticket options are available, from single-day passes to the Ultimate Hopper Ticket which offers access to all hospitality venues at the tournament.

Kids ages 15 and younger are admitted free with a paid adult (children over age three will need a free hospitality ticket).

Active duty members and a guest will be admitted free. In addition, new this year, there will be free and discounted tickets for first responders and health care workers.

Tournament Parking

Parking passes are digital and may sell out before tournament dates, so plan to purchase early. Golf cart transport and shuttle service is available from some of the lots. An alternative is using rideshare apps such as Lyft and Uber - highly recommended as parking is limited (there is a dedicated area for drop-off and pickup near Gate 8).
