Villa Gallace Italian Restaurant

We did not have a reservation but they fit our party of three. Food was amazing. Bread and olive oil were delicious. Caesar salad with homemade bread crumbs was delicious. I had lasagna, tried my sister's gnocchi, and my mom's eggplant Parmesan. All the food was perfectly made. All staff we came in contact with were very kind. It was spring break so service was a little slower but when on vacation another glad of wine while you wait was perfect. I would definitely return again and can't wait to have my leftovers 😊

Excellent fine dining old school Italian restaurant, without the modern hip BS. If you’re looking for a great place to sit down, and be served, while enjoying excellent food, look no further. Waiters and servers were extremely attentive, Mike took great attention to detail. It’s a true 3 course style meal, where drinks, then bread, then apps, then salad, then entree’s, then desert/coffee. As far as food, we got bruschetta and a pasta special with fiocchetti pear/cheese sauce. Both were phenomenal. The bruschetta had fresh tomatoes and oil. The bread was warm and doughy, served in a round loaf, with a very good oil blend. Nice the serving staff let us keep the bread for the whole meal to pick at while sipping our drinks and letting the food come to us. Fresh salad held us over till entrees came. I got the stuffed pork chop special with speck and gorgonzola, in a mushroom cream sauce with potatoes, and my girl got fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The pork chop was absolutely phenomenal, I will remember this vacation by it. Each ingredient feels individually cooked and prepared for your plate, it was excellent. Speck being a salty meat is hard to keep the saltiness from over powering the rest of the dish, but the mushroom sauce cut through great. The Alfredo was excellent, fresh cooked pasta for sure. We got a cheesecake to go, which was very slept on. Sweeter than most cheesecake I’ve tried, which actually made it taste even better. I would not only come back, it argue this is the best Italian food in the area, especially if you want to come to a restaurant to relax and enjoy great food. If you’re looking for an in and out turn tables non stop, don’t come here. It’s clear Luigi and company care about quality, not quantity. Kudos Luigi for being so involved in the restaurant too, checking on us, before during and after, even cleaning up tables. For being down a chef for the night, food wait times weren’t even noticeable having multiple course comes out timely. I’d put this place against any Italian restaurant in the Tampa/stpete/dunedin/ Clearwater area.

This was our first time visiting Indian Rocks Beach, and we didn’t have reservations on a very busy spring break day. Even so, the owner warmly welcomed us and went out of their way to find us a place to sit. Our waiter also made us feel right at home. Everything we ordered was outstanding — even though they were busy, the food never disappointed. I’m a big fan of Italian food. I won’t claim to be an expert, but I’ve tried many fine Italian restaurants wherever I travel, and I can honestly say: if you’re in town, this place is a must-try. Highly recommend.

My first time. Mid-week evening visit. Restaurant offering indoor or outdoor seating. Waitress by the name of Mindy was friendly and accommodating. I ordered a linguini pasta dish with jumbo shrimp cooked in a spicy marinara sauce (and other gourmet ingredients). Not too spicy just spot on perfect. Shrimp were indeed jumbo and not stingy with the amount served. Dinner included their signature bread which was one of the best I've had, a House or Caesar salad. I chose the house salad which was nicely presented with an excellent house dressing. You will not be disappointed. They only have a dinner menu as they are not open for lunch or early bird dinning. Menu on the website must and should be updated as it was not exactly as the one available at sitting. Restaurant menu shows different entrée choices and their current price tag. Overall it was a fabulous meal and worth the visit. I'll be back. Give it a try and enjoy!

Excellent food & dining experience. The owner greeted us as we came in and stopped by our table several times to chat and ensure everything was to our liking. Our waiter was outgoing, funny and added to the entire dining experience. I wish we remembered his name. Wonderful wine list! Save room for their desserts.
