Treasure Bay Resort & Marina (Treasure Island Hotel and Marina)

We originally had 2 hotels to choose from but we're so happy we ultimately chose this one over John's Pass. It was a very nice, clean place. Staff was very accommodating. The only disappointment we had was when we checked out today, the young clerk at the desk was a little rude. She didn't greet us or asked how we enjoyed our stay. All she said was to throw the keys in the box. She was totally opposite from the first clerk Named Danielle who was very sweet, pleasant and accommodating. Other than that, I would go back. Its a nice,clean place to stay with the gulf across the street at a reasonable price. Lobby coffee machine was still out of order.

Walking distance to all things food and bars. Beach however at its widest point across the street. A good half mile to the water. Room was really nice. Have nothing bad to say other than the pool was stupid warm. Wasn't refreshing at all. But it is in direct sun a majority of the day. Other guests are respectful. They should fix or replace lobby coffee machine too. I drove to a store every morning cause our room only had decaf. Would definitely stay again though. Was a deal at $600 for 5 days

Our second time here. We were here exactly 1 year ago. Appearantly under new ownership. No breakfast, No fishing allowed. Need to pay for parking, and you may, or may not have a parking space when you return from shopping or dinner. Prices higher with less amenities. Ran out of towels. Getting towels and service was like pulling teeth the first few days. Over all, just unfriendly people. Not everyone. Some were friendly and helpful. And lastly, the smell of pot entering your room from outside was very strong almost every night. No smoking was allowed, but didn't appear to be enforced.

Just stayed here for 3 nights with my teenage nieces that were visiting. We had a great time. It’s affordable and at the beach so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was surprised by how large the rooms are, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean. Our balcony overlooked the pool and across to the beach/gulf. They don’t do daily housekeeping which is how we like it. They knocked on the door each day to refresh towels. There are variety of coffee creamers, cups, plates, plastic ware down in the lobby for use. Coffee maker in room. The kitchenette has a sink which is helpful when you are sharing with teenagers. The beach access across the street does not have showers near the parking lot. Unsure if this is due to hurricane recovery but hotel has a shower poolside. Many places still recovering from the hurricanes but had a good number of places to walk to for food, ice cream, groceries (Publix). The trolley is a great and affordable way to get up and down the beach. I love staying at the beach and not getting in my car for days. This hotel is staying on my list. Excuse teenager mess in pics but rooms really are large.

I was expecting more than what we got with this hotel. First appearances looked great, parking was super easy, and it was a good location. The AC in the room was amazong. Once we walked in to the lobby, it was 75 degrees inside and humid, there was a thermostat that had a note saying not to adjust from 75... the floor and walls underneath the coffee machine in the lobby were dirty and stained. Check-in was easy and we were able to check about 1.5 hours early, which we really appreciated. We got to our room and it reeked of smoke, like the last guest smoked inside the room. We did have a little patio, so maybe the guest smoked on the patio with the door open, who knows? The front desk associate offered asked if i wanted a new room or to have it cleaned again, I declined and just wanted them to know of the smell. I get back to the room and start checking the beds and sheets. One of the sheets had what appeared to be boogers on it and the other bed had a hair and stains on the pillows...So I asked for new ones. The staff went in and replaced the sheets and remade the beds and cleaned the floors while we were at dinner. The shower had almost no water pressure and the water only got slightly above warm at best. The sink by the microwave had more pressure... And the beds are extremely firm, but i did sleep really well. I think the rooms are overpriced for what you get and I don't see us staying here again.
