Toasted Monkey BeachBar & Sports Grill

I ordered the Ahi tuna tacos. They came with 2 tacos and each had 3 minuscule AWFULLY TASTING pieces of tuna . Don’t know if that’s standard but for 16 dollars, I think that’s insane!! The service was also not very good. I asked for ranch a couple different times and was not informed there would be a charge for it. 3 ranch for 2.97?!? The only thing they did right was be nice to my puppy as it was his birthday, and the live music was wonderful.

Affordable waterfront dining and fun. Daily food specials with excellent quality food and top notch service from tenured staff. Well oiled machine with daily live music. I’ve never seen anyone not having a blast there. Shouts out to management as well for being totally cool people like Jeff, Michael, Katie, and top talent staff like Heidi, Megan, Thomas, Petco, Britany, Erin, Evan next door, literally like everyone is awesome. Thank you guys!

Our server was great and its located close to the water. The food was just ok. My husband ordered The Cuban sandwich and it was the best thing we ordered.

We LOVE the Toasted Monkey for their rooftop bar, amazing water views, food and live music. We usually sit at the rooftop bar and enjoy our drinks and meals with a view and the breeze, but the bottom level is set up as an outdoor restaurant with tables and waitresses if you’re looking for a more family friendly way to enjoy a meal. The rooftop bar overlooks the area of water at the end of Treasure Island where St Pete begins and the beautiful waterway between the two. The staff is awesome, the food servings are huge and my husband is addicted to their homemade hot sauce. Our order: Nachos with veggies plus a side of salsa Parking is decent as there are numerous buildings and lots to park. Just circle the building as people are always coming and going.

We had a blast on Labor Day. We saw Full Throttle and they were great. I ordered the Caprese Salad with grilled pineapple. It was delicious! The bar gets really crowded but it is such a laid back atmosphere, you can dress completely casual, it’s right across the beach. They have an upper deck patio, full bar and you can eat at the bar and underneath is an indoor restaurant . Great bar!
