This shop is so cute!! I came because I am about to leave for an exchange year and I went here to find gifts for my host family to show them about St. Pete, the city I grew up in! I found lots of fun goodies made by local artists and I am very happy with my finds! I can't wait to give it to my host families and to teach them a little about my life in St Pete!
I absolutely love this place! It’s a great way to support the community and buy some cute gifts! After the two hurricanes, I was on crutches and pulled up outside the store. I called them and one of the volunteers Diane and the director Shelly both came out to my car to do the transaction to accommodate my mobility issues. They were so supportive and sweet. I just came back to do some Christmas shopping and saw Shelly and Ann and Richard - they made it very festive and we laughed trying to find the right sizes. I will keep coming back!
I had the pleasure of being one of the artists represented at The St. Pete Store, and it’s truly a gem! The shop is filled with unique, locally made art and gifts, and it was an honor to have my work alongside such fun, talented artists. The staff is supportive and passionate about the creative community, and the whole experience was nothing short of wonderful. Though I'm moving out of state and can no longer sell there, I’ll always be grateful to have been part of this vibrant space. Highly recommend visiting if you want something special and local!
This spot has the BEST collection of St Petersburg souvenirs all made by local artists! AND If you're downtown and need some great local recommendations stop in. They have lots of flyers with local attractions and knowledgeable staff that can help. Trolley and bus information is also available to get ya around DTSP or to the beach!
Highly recommend you make this place your first start when you visit St. Petersburg. Lots of literature on what to do and see in this beautiful city. The staff, especially the manager Shelli Hemans, are so helpful and friendly. Our experience could not have been better and we are so grateful for their welcoming and helpful attitudes.
