The Library

I have been to the library 2 times now and I will say each experience was amazing! Recently I went for my husband’s birthday and we had a delightful experience. Drinks, food and atmosphere were all amazing and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about everything there has to offer for the library. Everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit, and I love how they have book clubs! If I was a local I’d definitely be a part of it. Reservations are not required, but I definitely recommend making them, since they can be busy sometimes! Next time I visit St. Pete, I’ll definitely be back again. It has turned into a staple for me! Great spot for a delicious meal. Went in at happy hour for a light bite. Sat at the bar (next time a table - a bit too much going on with the staff at the bar). Ordered the Warm burrata, which had a lot of flavor. Second time I have had this and this one was a bit too salty and oily. Had the Mowgli for a beverage. A very refreshing summer drink. Restaurant has a lot of outdoor seating for when the weather is a bit cooler.

Very cool atmosphere - the music was a tad loud for brunch on Saturday though. The service was great. We enjoyed the burrata starter; the beet salad and avocado toast were pretty good. The pancakes were just okay - very dense and doughy - the French toast was probably the best dish out of them all, crispy cinnamon crust, very tasty!

Stepping into The Library... you're immediately enveloped in a unique atmosphere reminiscent of a modern library that was decorated in the old style with books lining the shelves. This place demands attention from the moment you walk in. My wife opted for eggs and bacon, while I went for the cheeseburger. We also shared a French toast, which proved to be the standout dish. It’s important to note that this was a shared experience, as we barely managed to finish our portion. The menu offers a brunch selection that's worth exploring. Be prepared to savor every bite, as the food quality here is commendable. Service and flow are both excellent , ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While the ambiance is a highlight, it’s the food that truly shines. I'm planning to return for another visit. I went for my birthday on a Monday at noon and it was an outstanding experience. I was seated right away and to a seating area I requested without any hesitation. The waitress was very nice and attentive - she even recommended some other restaurants for us to check out in the area. The food came out hot and fresh. You could definitely tell the food was quality, nothing frozen or reheated. I asked for my leftovers to go and she put in some fresh fries and sauces - top notch quality. I will definitely be back.
