The Karol Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio

We had such a great experience here in late May! I had to host an event with a out 40 rooms with a dinner event in the roof! I got to work with the amazing sales team that went out of our way to accommodate what we needed! Michele and Karly were absolutely the best! Looking forward to our next event here. It’s now a top choice from the C Suite so we’ll be back!! The restaurants were fantastic, cocktails delicious, and the Bonvoy Elite lounge was clutch since our group travels often and enjoy coffee or an ice cold water on the way out the door.

We just finished a 3 day stay at the Karol for the 4th of July weekend and it was extraordinary! The rooms are incredibly spacious and clean, the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful, and the parking is FREE…what more can you ask for, right? Wrong. Despite all the aforementioned highlights, the best part of our weekend was eating meals at the hotel restaurant, The Katch. The food here at every meal was top notch, made only better by the stellar service. Do yourself a favor, stay at The Karol, eat at the Katch and request Marcel as your server. He is very knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and super personable. He made the visit a great one. Special shout out, and honorable mention, for Dwight. While he was not our server, he was overly welcoming and friendly each time we visited the restaurant. This experience was 10/10, highly recommended. Well done, Karol staff. Well done.

I haven’t left a review on a hotel in a long time, but they earned it! From Caroline’s extremely friendly and welcoming check-in (complete with champagne) to a lovely meal and drink on the rooftop, the whole team was ready to impress. The room was extremely clean, well appointed, and generously sized. The little things were all done right - fantastic water pressure, lots of temperature control, and all the goodies you’d love to see in a bathroom. Even when walking the hall, every staff member that you see seemed genuinely happy to see you and asked you how you were and if there was anything they could do for you. I haven’t felt this type of service level since before 2020, even at a Ritz. Fantastic job and I will be staying here again!

This was our first time staying at The Karol and my wife and I really enjoyed. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean with large bathrooms-wish they were set up with tub and walk in shower as they are large enough- the lounge was comfortable with a great bartender “Derek” who was very personable and provided some great dinner choices off the menu. He also makes an excellent martini. The roof top bar is also a great plus - service was friendly, but could have been more attentive as they were not very busy and I had to get up and go to the bar for another drink as they weren’t coming out to the terrace due to chatting, but it didn’t spoil the evening. Overall an excellent stay.

This was genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had at a hotel restaurant. The cook, LT, came out to my table three different times — once to walk me through the menu, once to check on the food after it came out, and once more just to make sure everything was still going well. He explained exactly how the dish was made and even brought out extra hot honey sauce and chicken broth on the side. My server Brooklynne was just as good — she knew the menu inside and out, kept checking in, and made sure I was comfortable the whole night. Between the two of them this felt like a five star experience. If you go, ask for LT.
