The Galaxy Hotel

While parking can be limited during major events, they do an excellent job explaining the available options and assisting guests. The hotel's location is another major advantage, with restaurants, entertainment, and popular attractions all within easy walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable place to relax. The lobby café is also a nice addition, providing a convenient spot for coffee or a light bite throughout the day. With its attentive staff, clean accommodations, and prime location, the Galaxy Hotel is a great choice for anyone visiting the area.

We recently stayed at the Galaxy Hotel for the second weekend in a row, and once again had a great experience. The staff throughout the hotel has been consistently friendly, welcoming, and professional, which really makes the stay feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the coffee shop inside — it’s an absolute must-try. The coffee was excellent, and the food exceeded our expectations both visits. It was convenient having such a great option right inside the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, and overall the property has a very relaxing atmosphere. We stayed on both the 4th and 7th floors during our visits. The 4th floor seemed a bit more polished and well-maintained overall, while the 7th floor was noticeably quieter and had stronger AC, which made sleeping very comfortable. The only real downside during our stays was the parking situation. The hotel lot is fairly small, so when spaces fill up, guests have to park at the Sundial Garage or the Exchange Hotel parking area. It would really elevate the overall experience if the hotel offered valet service or a more convenient dedicated parking option for guests. A few recommendations that could make future stays even better: * Adding valet parking or expanding guest parking options * Providing clearer signage or instructions for overflow parking * Adding a small welcome guide in the rooms with local dining and entertainment recommendations * Offering late-night coffee/snack options in the lobby area Overall, we genuinely enjoyed both stays and would absolutely return again. The excellent staff, comfortable rooms, quiet atmosphere, and great coffee shop make this hotel a standout option in downtown St. Pete.

From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, valued, and thoroughly pampered. Her attention to detail, warm hospitality, and professionalism truly set a new standard for customer service. The hotel itself is stunning—immaculate rooms, fantastic amenities, and a wonderful atmosphere—but it’s the staff that makes a place memorable. Rachel is a true asset to The Galaxy Hotel team, and her exceptional care turned a great vacation into an unforgettable one. We will absolutely be returning, and we cannot recommend this hotel (and Rachel!) highly enough. If you're looking for a flawless experience, this is it!

Stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend birthday. A number of things that made our stay absolutely wonderful & amazing. The location (so many things to do & restaurants in walking distance), the room size, the view, the mattress was comfortable (slept really good) & the service was incredible. There was a problem with our first initial room when we checked in (room/bathroom was not up to par. House missed a few things) so Daniel put us another room for the night. Randy (operations manager) got with housekeeping & fixed the issue the very next day. I was a little worried about it but they took very good care of us. They definitely made our stay easy & comfortable. Thank you gentlemen for doing what you did. I will definitely tell friends/family to stay here & we will be back.

Our stay at The Galaxy Hotel in St. Petersburg was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The Manager Randy clearly leads with professionalism and care. Front desk team members Ariyana, Daniel, and Jason were responsive, kind, and truly an absolute pleasure to interact with. Every request was handled quickly and with a positive attitude, which made the entire experience feel seamless. It is very rare to find a team that works so well together and genuinely seems invested in guest satisfaction. We felt welcomed, valued, and well taken care of throughout our stay. We will absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Pete.
