The Boardwalk Grill

Excellent! I went based on these reviews and was not disappointed. Thankfully we went a little early for dinner because it’s a very small restaurant. The host and server were wonderful. They were both friendly and helpful. The food was phenomenal. I had fish and chips, and my husband opted for the lobster roll with a side of onions rings. These were delicious. We were a group of 14 people, spread across three tables and we were all raving about how delicious the food was. Highly recommend!

The Boardwalk Grill is a great spot right on the harbor with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and excellent service. It's the kind of place where you can kick back, enjoy the view, and have an outstanding meal. The lobster roll is the star of the menu and honestly one of the best I've ever had. They are incredibly generous with the lobster, and the roll is perfectly toasted and buttered. The fries deserve a mention too—they were absolutely excellent. I was completely stuffed after finishing the lobster roll, but I still couldn't stop eating the fries because they were just that good! My partner isn't into seafood so she ordered the chicken tacos; they were great as well. If you're in Madeira Beach and looking for a great waterfront meal, The Boardwalk Grill is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back for that lobster roll!

Everything here is ala cart. You need to get side separate. $33 Lobster roll is lacking of flavor, very bland, TOO DRY and not worth its expensive price. It says on the menu that it comes with celery and dressing but I didn’t find a piece of celery in there and NO DRESSING at all, you can clearly see in the picture, the DRIEST lobster roll ever. Just some lettuce under to fill it and that’s it. Fries and onion rings so GREASY. Philly cheesesteak is just ok nothing special. We dined on the outside table which is a good spot. However, this place is not worth the hype, not worth the price! we tried it because of the good reviews but after we tried it ourselves we now believe the bad reviews in here. Service is ok but you can feel it was not genuine. Total was around $70 not including tip was outrageous.

Great lunch on the water! They were able to accommodate our party of 6 and the service was amazing. I could have drank the sauce that is on the Po’ Boy! It was incredible. 4 orders of the fish & chips and there was nothing left on the plates. Shrimp tacos received no complaints as well. Didn’t care for the onion rings as the onions were very thick and the breading not crispy. there was NOTHING wrong with them, we just prefer thin, crispy onion rings.

Great little spot. Great portions, great view and great service. There’s a couple outdoor seats which is nice. There’s a small bar rail you can sit at inside as well that has a view of the water. Overall the place is very small, but the prices are quite reasonable. I had the Tuna Melt for $8.99, very good!
