The Birchwood

Great spot with amazing views. Overall unfortunately disappointed. Bar service is great! Table service not at all. Waitress brought the amazing Margarita Pizza, no napkins or silverware and then passed by me several times to serve others like I was invisible. While the pizza flavor was great, it was very soggy.

The Birchwood was everything I hoped for and more as our wedding venue, and truly exceeded my expectations at every turn. Claire, Marlice, and the rest of the team were exceptional to work with — so helpful, hands on, and deeply invested in bringing my vision to life. From start to finish, they made the entire planning process feel smooth, organized, and thoughtfully guided. We hosted our cocktail hour on the Canopy rooftop, which was absolutely perfect, with gorgeous views that our guests could not stop talking about. The drinks were another standout — an excellent selection of wines and creative signature cocktails that guests raved about all night. Then we moved to the ballroom for the reception, and it was stunning; the new dance floor and new carpet made the space feel fresh, elegant, and truly special. The food was amazing, and we received so many compliments on both the meal and the overall atmosphere. I am so grateful we chose The Birchwood and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an outstanding, attentive team.

My friend & I stayed at The Birchwood while attending Tampa Bay Blues Festival. From the moment we arrrived, the customer service was excellent. We arrived early because the concert was starting prior to check in. Our Valet, Asiana, took excellent care of us. We handed her the car key and she managed everything including having our bags delivered to our beautiful room when the room was ready. Asiana is the BEST! The entire staff was more than accommodating, made our stay a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel and will definitely stay there again next year for the Blues Fest! Thank you!!

I attended for a birthday celebration. While I had anticipated a slightly more upscale atmosphere, the views were nonetheless stunning. Our server provided exceptional service. Now that I have a better understanding of what to expect, I plan to return and explore further.

Wow! We have visited the Birchwood hotel one time before, but booked the king balcony suite for our wedding weekend—we were blown away not only by the luxurious and spacious room at this darling boutique hotel, but also by the exceptional service (and kindness!) the staff showed to us throughout our stay. Notably, Shane was awesome! Would stay here again.
