The Beachcomber Beach Resort & Hotel

Excellent Value & Location: The hotel is reasonably priced and offers direct, easy access to the beach. Plus, they include 2 chairs and an umbrella per room, which is a huge plus. Spacious Rooms: The room layout is quite spacious and comfortable. Nice Vibes & Perks: The reception area is very nice, and there is a promising courtyard with seating that is great for small gatherings. They also provide morning coffee (it’s not the best, but there is a Dunkin’ right across the street, which is incredibly convenient). While initial in-room amenities like shampoo and towels are limited, staff will bring you more whenever you request them. The Cons: The Parking Situation (The Worst Part): Parking is strictly first-come, first-served, and the hotel does not guarantee a space for guests. You can easily end up waiting around for a long time just to get a spot. Not 100% Kid-Friendly: The hotel has direct access to Jimmy's Bar. The mornings are perfectly fine, but by night, a large crowd arrives ready to party, which might not be ideal if you have young kids. No Workspace: Despite the large room layout, there is no table or desk if you need to sit down and get any work done.

Terrible is the only way to start this review. I knew it was an older hotel and expected way more than I should have. The parking is horrible everyone and everything needs to be unloaded before you can park. The parking spaces are the smallest I've ever seen. Even after unloading the car and parked I had to squeeze out of the driver's seat. It gets worse the only way out of the lot is to reverse up to a couple hundred feet with every alarm going off because your a foot from other vehicals on one side and a foot on the other side from a concrete wall. When we arrived the room was clean and cold. By midnight the room was hot, well over 80 degrees. They sent maintenance and they fixed nothing so we were blazing hot the rest of our stay. The first day there the weird extra lock on the door locked us out of our room while at the beach. Maintenence couldn't fix it so the solution was to break it off and not replace it. I had to stack our luggage and cooler against the door for security. The food and service and Jimmy B's was terrible. The very loud drunks passing our room half of the night made it impossible to sleep all night. The only thing I can say that good about the place is it was clean and all of the cleaning staff were great and friendly. The rest tucked and as a local I will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

We wanted an affordable hotel with a nice room and beach access that provided beach loungers and an umbrella for our one night stay as part of our vacation in St. Pete. This hotel was perfect! More than half of the price of where we stayed last year with the room being just as nice. Easy beach access with beach loungers and an umbrella just like we wanted all included in the price for the room. Was quiet at night time. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

I stayed at this hotel for 12 nights and I gotta say it was a pretty amazing stay The rooms were so nice and cold the air-conditioning was amazing inside all the rooms beds were actually so comfy I had the best sleep very great fridges. Keep your drinks literally freezing cold water pressure was bomb so good totally love but I gotta say The location not the best of course not the beach but where you can eat most restaurants close at one which is hard to find food but there are some other amazing delicious seafood places right by and you don’t even need an Uber but I gotta say the beaches are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen white sand they give you free two chairs in an umbrella pools beautiful the property was absolutely stunning gorgeous I loved it so much overall totally go here. Housekeeping’s amazing everything’s amazing.

Excellent stay! The room was clean and comfortable with great a/c! The staff were very friendly and helpful every time we needed anything. The two pools were nice. The beach access was perfect! With your accommodations you get two lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach! The beach bar was great! We had a 17 year old with us and they made her great virgin piña colada‘s! The food was good too! We stayed during the week and had no issues with parking or bar guests being too loud. Definitely recommend!
