Tampa Bay Rescues
At the Alligator & Wildlife Learning Center at John’s Pass Village in Madeira Beach, guests can choose which of its many animals to learn about. The center is home to more than 250 rescued animals, including four species of crocodilians, plus tortoises, snakes, lizards, frogs, tarantulas, pigs, lemurs and various small mammals. It houses 40 American alligators – and that’s just in its main room. It has six other rooms! The animals comes from places such as SPCAs, wildlife rescues, reptile rescues and people who can no longer care for a pet. It’s so fun, kids won't know they’re learning!
