Our group had a great overall experience at Benchmark Arena. Getting into the Sky Deck was quick and easy, which set the tone for the night. Michelle, the bartender, stood out—she made excellent cocktails and provided great service throughout. The buffet was another highlight: food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Angel, the buffet attendant, was attentive, personable, and really added to the experience. A couple areas for improvement—the popcorn was pre-bagged, stale, and cold. That’s an easy fix that could make a noticeable difference. Also, once you enter the venue, there’s no re-entry, which can be frustrating if you need to step out or left something in your car. That said, the complimentary bottled water and beverages in the Sky Deck were a big plus, especially since other drink options were on the pricier side. Overall, a fun visit with great service and solid food—definitely worth checking out.
So I have been to quite a few concert venues. Thos might be my favorite. Getting into the concert took like 5 minutes. Lines for drinks and food were short. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Security was a breeze. Views from my cheap seats were just fine. Couldn't ask for anything more.
I will always call it the Ice Palace because it’s easier than relearning the ever changing name. The seats and the sound are good all throughout the arena for sporting events and concerts. It’s always cold here I have had to buy a blanket in the gift shop in the past. There are good restaurants inside and the outside is set up beautifully for enjoying the event in an electric casual outdoor setting. In the club there are plenty of bars and the lines move quickly. Sushi and chilled shrimp now it is divided in 3 stations on 4th & 5th floors. The prime rib station has been replaced with a rib and brisket station. The quality of the food has taken a dip since becoming Benchmark intl. Arena. The venue is still excellent. The bars do not serve real Bailey’s but they do have Jameson.
In town for the Rascal Flatts concert, as my wife was dying to see them in concert & I hadn't seen them since the early days of their career in a small theater in Northern Indiana. They're just as good as I remember & my wife was extremely impressed by their references to the Lord. They're not ashamed of their faith! The seats gave us an amazing view of the show, but they definitely weren't designed for full size adults. Didn't really appreciate getting treated like a child & having the bottle cap of my $6 bottle of water being immediately taken away & thrown in the trash after purchasing because they're worried that I'm going to throw it at someone.
This was my first visit to Benchmark Arena, formerly, Amalie Arena. What an amazing concert venue. The arena was very clean, inside and out. The food and beverage selection, although very pricey, was impressive. The management and staff here were an absolute delight to deal with. I had an issue with my tickets where they were supposed to be handicap accessible, but unfortunately were not. But one of the employees contacted management and they found us seats before the show started. Amazing people to work with. I wish I could remember the Woman's name who originally helped us. She went above and beyond to help. If management reads this, she was near the stairway and elevators by section 201. Just an amazing human being. In conclusion, a fantastic time was had by all. Andrea Bocelli was incredible.
