Tacos, Tequila & Rum

Excellent experience at TTR. I tried the grouper fish tacos and the shrimp ceviche, and both were amazing very fresh and full of flavor. The service was outstanding. Our server Luis Miguel was very friendly and attentive the whole time, which made the experience even better. We also had the chance to meet the owner Puma, who was very welcoming and clearly cares about making sure guests enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The place has a great vibe, perfect for enjoying good tacos and drinks. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Really delicious food! The crunchy beef tacos are amazing! Simple seasoning and ingredients, but absolutely delicious... grouper tacos were excellent too! It's fried grouper seasoned perfect and the chipotle sauce is very tasty, not too spicy.... my wife and I just decided to give this place a try and honestly we were pleasantly surprised... we live in Tampa and occasionally fo Clearwater... the next time we go we'll definitely be coming back here!

Fortunately we missed breakfast so we had to come back for like the 6th time! I have to express how welcomed we felt, how accommodating they were and how knowledgeable they were! LUISMI stole the show as usual and I can’t thank him enough! We will be back when visiting!

My family and I ate here twice while visiting Clearwater on vacation. The first time we dined in and the service was slow, we ordered taco Tuesday specials. The second time was a complete mess. Still the service was slow but we knew the food was good, so it was a compromise. When we began to order I specifically asked the price of ala carte tacos and the waitress told me specifically 5 dollars a taco. Which I think is over priced but it's Clearwater and a small restaurant and we were okay with that for the quality of taco. The service was extremely slow bringing food to the table or getting additional salsa which was approximately 2 ounces for 2 dollars. One person's order at a time was brought to the table. My partner’s food came out one taco every 10 minutes instead of all three brought out at once. Again we sacrificed the service for the good food. But then we get the the bill a nightmare. Apparently ala carte was a different price then what we were told and they basically double charge you if you order ala carte taco with meat. When asked about it the waitress admitted to making a mistake but the kicker was the manager/owner did not want to take responsibility for it. Instead he said the waitress made a mistake and she is human and we still have to pay the extra charge even though she specifically told us 5 dollars a taco. The confusion was the numbers next to the ala carte menu look as though that was how you ordered it, not the price of each taco. Even though I asked the price she never referenced the menu. We all were understanding a taco was 5 dollars. Long story short, make sure you read the menu and I probably would only eat there on taco Tuesday specials. This restaurant could not take responsibility for their mistakes and are taking advantage of tourists know they have money to spend. The prices were too high for the service you recieved. Unfortunately this time we did not tip anything after I made sure to tell the owners to remove the gratuity charge because that was no where disclosed on the menu. This restaurant would never make it in large city because of the lack of communication, level of customer service and lack of knowledge in the restaurant business. No matter what the waitresses mistakes are it's there job to help make the customers satisfied make it a positive experience regadless of being human or not. A restaurant owner/manager should be worried about keeping their customers coming back regardless of there mistakes.

Very uncomfortable and crowded seating. We ordered margaritas for $12 and we got a child sized 3 oz. drink filled with ice. I almost laughed out loud when they served it, but sadly, they were serious. We ordered chips and salsa, which was $8.00, but there were not many chips and they were kind of stale and unflavored and the salsa was in a strange corn chip bowl which was disintegrating and was gross and we ran out super quick. We were going to eat there but left instead and went to Tate's behind The Sandpearl where we enjoyed awesome food and drinks and a great view of the ocean. The service wasn't very good, multiple waitresses available but they kind of ignored us. This place is a money grab, I would avoid it!
