Swim Zone

First time visiting, and it was an awesome experience! My daughter and I are training for our first sprint triathlon, and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciated all the advice and guidance. Highly recommend!

This shop isn't very large yet has the absolute best selection of semi-professional & professional level swim gear in the bay are. As a serious swimmer I find myself in their shop at least 3-4 times a year. The woman that is usually running the place is extremely friendly and sincerely tries to find you the best products and not just the most expensive ones. I asked and she said that they have been in business for 32 years now.

We went to the swim zone after reading a Google review about the owner helping to ensure the right fit for swim goggles. My eyes have been burning in the pool and nothing I’ve bought so far has fit. So my husband started doing some research and found this place. True to the previous reviewer, the owner was there and she spent 20 minutes pairing me with the right fit for my face. She also gave me care tips and tricks to avoid water leaking. The store also offers great selection of sun care clothing and swimwear. She told us that she’s owned the shop for 40 years. It’s quite a special thing these days to be able to see, feel and try things on before buying. Hey St. Pete….Let’s keep this gem around another 40 years!!
