Sunset Inn & Cabanas

Sunset Inn just reopened over July 4th weekend from the hurricanes. The new cabanas and swimming pool are a wonderful addition to the retro rooms. We rented a cabana for July 4th and loved everything about it. The couple managing the resort , Sandra & Ryan , are pure gold, a top notch husband and wife team that go out of their way to ensure your comfort and that you have everything you need. We stayed here several times before the hurricanes hit and will be staying here again since they have reopened. We really enjoy our time spent here, the beach directly across the street, and now even a pool. Awesome job Sandra & Ryan

I stayed here for a work trip a few months before Milton. I returned again about a month after and was broken hearted to see the damage that this amazing place suffered. I spoke with the owner at length during my stay before the hurricane and was amazed by the amount of work and love that was put into this place. I'm not sure what the ultimate plan or outcome of this will be for the owner(s) but I certainly hope that they are able to rebuild and reopen at some point. The room was small but it was very nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean and very well organized. The proximity to the beach couldn't be better! I am going to be moving down there in a few weeks and am excited to see what happens to it. Wishing the owner(s) many blessings and the best of luck in whatever they do!

We absolutely loved our little stay at our cottage! We rented our own private cottage, so privacy was not a concern. It was equiped with what we needed as it was just my husband and I. The place was decorated so cute! The bed could have been more comfy but wasn't a huge problem. Cleanliness is always a huge concern for me when I book somewhere and our cottage was nice and very clean. Communication with the host was super! The beach is right across the street and there are restaurants close by. If you're looking for a more relaxed beach stay but still close to the action of Clearwater, this is perfect. Everything was near perfect from booking until after checkout. I would love to stay here again!

Just returned from an unforgettable family getaway at Sunset Inn & Cottages in Treasure Island, FL, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! 🌴 The Captain’s Cottage was perfect—cozy yet spacious, with everyone enjoying their own rooms. We loved being just steps from Sunset Beach, soaking up the sun and surf. The retro charm mixed with modern comforts gave us that nostalgic 'Old Florida' vibe. A special shoutout to Sandra and her team for their warm hospitality—they made our stay extra special. If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Florida for a family vacation, romantic escape, or just a beach break, Sunset Inn & Cottages is a must-visit! Already excited to plan our next trip back! 🌅

We celebrated our daughter’s 17th Birthday with her friends at Sunset Inn and had a wonderful stay! The cottages are super cute and the perfect amount of space and privacy. The rooms were clean and smelled great! Sandra is so sweet and helpful! She recommended Wild Child and it was the best dinner we’ve had in a long time! The beach is right across the street and our pictures at sunset were beyond beautiful. The algae on the rocks look so magical right now. Wonderful place to make memories!
