It is a wonderful place, 100% staffed by volunteers. All their items are donated or purchased through donation funds. Your entry ticket goes towards the feeding of the animals. There are several animals that are rescued from experimental labs, aka animal testing centers. The volunteers would love to see improvements to the sanctuary, like better facilities for the animals, to give them dignified forever homes. When you go to a zoo or Busch Gardens, you spend a ton of money for rides and animals - here is an opportunity to help the less fortunate animals!

So nice seeing so many rescued animals truly being cared for. I enjoyed seeing them and especially knowing they are being very well taken care of.

Truly a hidden gem. These animals are not only endangered, they are rescued. You could tell by their reaction that they just wanted some interaction with people. However, since this is a non-for-profit organization they are in desperate need of support and donations so they can help rescue more primates and save them and help educate people. It was an amazing place.

The dedication of staff to keep the sanctuary open is remarkable. The animals are well fed and looked after and their welfare comes first every time. I would encourage anyone who can to visit as the ticket sales go a long way to keeping this ‘not for profit’ organisation going.

You can tell they take so much pride in the animals they care for here and provide them the care, and dignity they deserve. Props to these amazing volunteers because it is 100% volunteer run. Pongo was a treat to see he is absolutely gorgeous. I love that they have little QR codes telling you about each animal and their unique personalities which truly reflects the time the caretakers spend with these animals to curate such a beautiful sentiment for every single one. We had a great visit here!
