Sunburst Inn

I loved this wonderful little treasure and have returned x 3 times.. hope they can get it restored and back to Paradise for all to enjoy!

We had a wonderful vacation here! We stayed in room 10 for three nights and loved every minute. The room had everything we needed. The main reason we chose the sunburst inn was that they were pet friendly. We will definitely be returning. The view of the beach and the amenities were better than we expected. It’s in a great location, several places to eat nearby and not far from two big grocery stores. The staff member we met (Jason) was very nice and gave us a couple of good recommendations for restaurants. We wish we had made a longer reservation but it’s ok, we will be back!

I recently watched the episode of 100 Day Dream Home featuring this beautiful property and was excited to learn more, hoping to book a future stay. I was saddened to discover that the property is temporarily closed due to hurricane damage—a situation I can only imagine has been incredibly difficult for everyone involved. That said, I was disappointed to read that refunds are not being offered for prior reservations. While I understand the strain natural disasters can place on businesses, holding on to funds for services that can no longer be provided feels unfair to guests. Unfortunately, this policy would make me hesitant to consider booking here in the future.

Great staff! Clean rooms ! Very ideal location! Cant beat it!

So far, this has been my favorite family-friendly beach hotel that I've stayed at in the US. From the amazing hospitality, to the very cute and comfortable rooms, this hotel had everything we needed to enjoy a stress-free vacation with my two boys. The hotel had corn hole, beach chairs and towels, umbrellas, bikes, paddle boards, pretty much everything we needed. It was also nice that we had private beach access so the beaches weren't overly crowded. On top of that, the room was equipped with a full kitchen so we really didn't need to leave the property. (This was very nice for my two boys who have severe food allergies so I was able to make all of their food in the room). The sunsets every night were incredible. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a beach getaway with their family.
