St. Petersburg Distillery

This is a truly hidden gem. We were hesitating to go but since we were looking for something to do close to our hotel and there was nothing else, we decided to go to St. Pete distilliery. The place is small but it is amazing. Chris was out tour guide and he was awesome, he is so much knowledgeable that any questions we had she was able to answer. He is an amazing host plus he looks like Cillian Murphy. The spirits that they make are very good, the flavors, the tasting, the tasting room with the "speakeasy" style is beautiful. We went on a Friday at 1 but we were told they have evening events with live music, I wish I could be there. I recommend this place 100%, you won't regret. Great to support local businesses.

Fabulous distillery committed to locally sourced products and just an overall beautiful atmosphere. We visited the Speakeasy upstairs and were blown away by the cocktails and customer service. If you haven’t visited - visit! Such creative & delicious cocktails. A fun way to do something different in St. Pete. We will be back - thank you!

St. Petersburg Distillery, just down the street from Tropicana Field should be a regular destination if you live in the Central Florida area. Outdoors the have plenty of parking for outdoor and indoor events. They also have concerts, shopping, food trucks, check their calendar! The tasting room and tours are open until 6 p.m., but as soon as you get there, ask to be put on the list for the upstairs speakeasy that OPENS at 6 p.m.! You will also need the secret access password which changes daily. The personable manager’s name is Kylie, she can help with that. By the way the speakeasy is first come, first served and accommodates limited amounts of people, so get on the list! The cost of these amazing cocktails is right around $11! Perfect for retirees on a budget! When you’re seated upstairs after 6 you’ll have the opportunity to orders small plates of food. These are Delicious! However, they use high quality, expensive ingredients to construct these bites, so, I have to admit, they are NOT the same great deal as the cocktails. We tried a couple, and then went to dinner elsewhere. St. Pete’s distillery has been an active part of the community for more than 10 years. They have the perfect staff, refined their menu, and created some of the best cocktails and spirits I’ve ever had! The is a no-brainer don’t miss. Tell Kylie that Steve and Brian sent you! Enjoy!

I had the pleasure to visit St.Petersburg Distillery. After the beach i took the Sunrunner bus and noticed the big sign. I decided to do the tour last friday. We were 3 in total on the tour, it was a little too early 1:00PM. We were greated with a comprar. Cocktail, i had the matcha Strawberry, reslly good. At thd e ntrance theres a bar i guess, with the gift shop. Our host-tour guide for the day was Chris, an elegant, handsome, witty, smart gentleman, he knows every detail of the products. Knows history, tales, anecdotes.. Very welcoming, what a presence this man has! We walked by a hall, painted by a local artist, then went to the tour place, I'd never being in a distillery, and never had tasted whisky before. After the tour ended Chris with a big smile answered our questions. Then, we walk to the Speakeasy, he walk us to the"secret door" , and we enter this 1930'sbeautiful decorated bar. Then Chris, put a set ofbar mats ,divided by six little squares, with the name of each licquor, 6 shot cups, to each of us a glass of water to wash up after. He explained, name, how to smell, taste and wash the flavor. I completely loveeed the experience. I promise to come back with my adult sons. Then we go downstair and to the gift store, of course you want to take home some of these delicious spirits. I did. ❤️ They need more exposure locally , to me it was a great experience.im glad i did it.

The distillery is impressive in its style and variety of spirits but its standout feature is the beautiful speakeasy hidden at the top of the distillery, once you provide the password, you are escorted through beautiful local artwork, quick walk through the distillery itself then up the stairs and you’re transported to the prohibition era entering a beautifully decorated bar and lounge with velvet couches, crystal chandeliers and lamps and throwback art and greeted by a friendly staff. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the mixologist preparing our drinks of art and taste. I enjoyed the espresso martini with a citrus chocolate and my husband had the maple old fashion with a tasty waffle crisp. Absolute perfection. Took a star away since we couldn’t get anyone to take our food service during this visit but our experience was still so positive that we plan to return and try again.
