Southern Fresh in Safety Harbor was fantastic! The food was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the cast iron chicken, and it was absolutely perfect—juicy on the inside with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. The sides were delicious, and the banana pudding was amazing and the perfect way to end the meal. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the prices offered great value for the quality and amount of food you receive. A special shout-out to Jamie, our waitress, who provided outstanding service. She was friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even better. This has quickly become our new favorite place—we only wish we had tried it sooner! If you're looking for great Southern comfort food, Southern Fresh is definitely worth a visit. We will absolutely be back!

The reviews say they are known for their fried chicken. This was a one and done for me. The flavor of the chicken was ok, the mashed potatoes and gravy lacked flavor and the green beans were very crunchy. I don’t eat chicken with feathers still on it, and that’s what I got. They comped me a banana pudding but I wasn’t really interested. Cute little place but only 1 try for me. Also the menu is not the one on line it is a very limited menu.

I wanted to share our wonderful experience with our waitress, Shelby, this evening. She was attentive, friendly, and always on top of everything, making our meal enjoyable. Tried the fried chicken because everyone recommended it, and it definitely did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. We also had an issue where our food was accidentally dropped, and the staff handled it so gracefully and kindly. They were incredibly apologetic and quick to make it right, which we really appreciated. Great food and even better service!

We had a taste for fried chicken and was gonna go to Popeyes but decided to google fried chicken and found this gem. The whole experience was fantastic from the food, atmosphere and service with Freddy and Jamie. Best collards I’ve ever had and the chicken and meatloaf was out of this world. Great job Roger the cook actually came to our table. Then we topped it off with the homemade strawberry shortcake, absolutely amazing! Highly recommend…
