Quintessential best place to go for top shelf, premium crafted, hand made cocktails. These folks are the best! They care and will make sure you leave happy and fulfilled. Love their pop up ideas so keep an eye 👀 out for what's next! Always creative, never boring and the BEST Dunedin has to offer! 10 of 10! 💯
Visited this social club with my wife. We were shocked at how small it is, and loved the intimacy and the vibe. We were sat right away and an initial drink order was taken and delivered quickly. My wife had the Paloma, it was not great, but not bad, rate it a 7/10. I had an old fashioned, I’d rate it a solid 8/10 (although the ice cube took up approx 80% of the glass). We waited a very long time to be able to order some food and both of our drinks were sitting empty by the time the waiter came back around. Waiter had a great attitude when he was talking with us, but didn’t show any interest in checking in, ordering more drinks, or taking a food order. We eventually flagged him down we both ordered our drinks again (my wife asked for a different tequila to be used and the second one had a better flavor). We both ordered the French onion soup, as well as the cauliflower pizza and a ground beef Wellington. After about 30 minutes all the food came out at once. The soup had clearly been sitting out waiting for the rest of the food as the cheese had rehardened, and the soup was cold. Croutons had disintegrated into the cold broth. This was a major disappointment because the flavor was actually pretty good, but who wants cold onion soup with hard cheese on top? The ground beef Wellington was delicious. Great pastry, the filling was like a well prepared stroganoff. I’d order it again for sure. The star of the show was the cauliflower crust pizza. Big chunks of bacon, balsamic, arugula. Flavor was incredible, crust had a great chew- we were definitely impressed! Again we waited for a very long time for the waiter to come back (place was only 60% full), and ordered a sweet treat- we tried the mixed berry crème brule. It was ok, I’d give it a 6 out of 10. There are many places in Dunedin to get a great dessert, won’t do dessert at this place again. We had to flag down the waiter again to get our check and close out. I was shocked to find a 20% gratuity already added to a check for a party of 2. I totally get that for large parties, but was surprised to see it in our case. I think this may be why the staff had zero urgency to check in, get food out while it’s still hot, etc…they’re making 20% no matter what. All in all, decent drinks, great atmosphere, tasty flavors of the food, but the poor delivery just brought the whole experience down. There’s a lot of potential here. Hope they can focus on the service level!
Popped in this past weekend for an app and cocktails and I wasnt disappointed. I sat at the bar and got to try one of their halloween cocktails before they switched to Christmas. It was really good, little pricey but good. We also got the ahi tuna poke - it said it was yellowtail but Im pretty sure it was ahi LOL I didnt care bc it was delicious. Id come back just for that. Service was great, Mal took care of us. Very nice, attentive, and had great recommendations. Their happy hour menu is awesome as well. I plan to come back in December to see their holiday overlay. Highly recommend this spot for apps and drinks.
Have been coming here for years! Great hangout spot for any occasion! They have a great selection of specialty drinks, or you can create your own. On the left is a mezcal tequila old fashion and their “well” four roses old fashion. Amazing service they all work as a team and friendly! We didn’t have the food today, but it has been amazing in the past!
So I give this place 5 stars for a few reasons, the first one is, the drinks are always really good. They change the menu up based on the theme of the pop up bar but, every time I’ve gone and gotten a themed drink, it’s really good. The solid tried and true drinks are good as well. Second, the atmosphere is really cute. They have cute decor that changes every couple of months it seems based on the theme they’re doing. During December there’s a Christmas theme. October Halloween. In between there’s random themes based on what’s going on. And the decor and drinks all match. Super super cute. They have things like board games too, available for people there. Indoor and outdoor seating & it’s open late. Occasionally live DJs. Always good service weather it’s packed or the last few there for the evening.
