Sloppy Joe's on the Beach

During our recent dinner outing with a few friends, we encountered some challenges. While the front staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful, the restaurant’s ambiance was pleasant, and its location was convenient. However, the table we occupied was slightly sticky and not thoroughly cleaned. Our server, Audrey, unfortunately lacked attentiveness throughout the service, leaving us without water for the entire duration. The food quality was average. The guacamole was unremarkable and lacked freshness. The filling of the devil eggs was synthetic and lacked the desired taste. The calamari was excessively oily and lacked crispiness. The main courses were satisfactory. The mahi mahi was succulent and well-seasoned, while the asparagus was grilled to perfection. The home fries were crispy, and the bacon and jalapeño mac and cheese was slightly disappointing due to the lack of jalapeño flavor. The fish and chips were delicious, with crispy fish fried to golden perfection and crispy chips served with a tangy tartar sauce. Regrettably, our waiter did not inquire about our dessert preferences. I had a strong desire to try the pina colada bread pudding, but she didn’t asked if we wanted any dessert. Unfortunate.

Spent some time at Bilmar so ended up coming here a few mornings for breakfast. I tried the crab omelet, banana pancakes, and eggs Benedict. All were delicious! We also came here 1 night for dinner, I had the grouper sandwhich and it was perfect. It was a loud night with the whole outside area packed and a live singer playing some oldies. The vibes were good! Our servers were all fantastic and very attentive every time we came. Overall, a great experience! We also got 5 bucks off our meal through Bilmar so that was a plus.

The entire staff were knowledgeable, helpful and eager to please. The views are excellent. Choose a front row seat and take in the amazing views of the gulf as you sip on a drink and enjoy a well prepared meal. Only knock on the place is the cost of the drinks, they are a little steep. Breakfast was excellent and not very busy so it was very relaxing. When visiting Treasure Isalnd make this a stop and enjoy some great atmosphere and take in all mother nature has to offer.

Great atmosphere, fast service, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive throughout the visit. The chips and salsa with queso were fantastic — really delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the food itself did not meet expectations. The pulled pork was completely cold, as if it had been sitting in a pot for hours after being cooked. The burger also lacked flavor and tasted like a pre-made supermarket patty rather than a fresh restaurant burger. Overall, the service and appetizers were great, but the main dishes were disappointing.

Great experience! The food and service was absolutely top notch, and the views were amazing. We stopped for lunch. We had the crispy fish sandwich and blackened mahi tacos. Both of these were fantastic and I'd recommend either one. We also enjoyed a tequila sunrise and a frozen hurricane. Delish!
