Sirata Hilton Tapestry Beach Resort

This hotel was newly renovated and we had a great stay-very clean-staff was very friendly and helpful. King bed oceanfront with balcony was a great choice-the only issue we had was the bathroom is very small-we stepped into the shower to close the door- the landscaping and hotel itself are all done beautifully. Rum Runners being next door was very convenient for meals or drinks-pools were clean and had lots of room for everyone to enjoy. Price was within normal range for oceanfront stay-highly recommend-

This is my second time to St. Pete and I have enjoyed coming to St Pete both times. This time we stayed at Sirata and it was a nice hotel and resort to stay at. The view was amazing !!!!!!!!!! The RUM Runners restaurant had amazing service and food. Our concerns with the resort are, no covered area to get to the lobby, and no covered area to comfortably to sit outside if it is raining out and you want to be outside. Yes, we had a walkout patio area, but wanted to sit in a different spot. The walk way was very rough if you happen to be walking without shoes. Which we were not the only ones. The people smoking & or vaping on their patios were a huge turnoff. to be outside. We wished there was pool side food / drink service. The bathroom area was very small, you pretty much had to get in the shower to close the door. We had to put our own garbage bags in the garbage cans (2times). The garbage cans could be a bit bigger as well. When we asked for clean towels and for the room to be cleaned all we received were 4 bath towels and no clean wash cloths or hand towels. This was after we asked 2 times for towels. They mopped the floor which was unsafe since when we came back to the room it was still wet. Our water was never replaced and they said we would get 2 a day. we went and bought water and drinks ourself at the store. I will have to say that Travas was very helpful and very nice every time we saw him. All of the staff were polite and willing to help, with the exception of the room cleaning staff. The bar tender at the pool, she rocked and had a great personality. Overall, i am not sure we would come back. Nice hotel but ..... just not sure.

I honestly don’t understand why some people leave negative reviews about this hotel. Everything was perfect during my stay. The room was clean, beautiful, and spacious, and the hotel itself is wonderful. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. Rum Runners Bar, located right next to the hotel, is fantastic as well. All of the servers and staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

We were really looking forward to our stay at Sirata, but unfortunately the experience fell well below expectations. The biggest disappointment was that the photos online do not accurately represent the current condition of the property. What is advertised feels very different from what you'll actually find. The rooms are outdated, in desperate need of renovation, and did not feel clean. Overall, they felt worn, neglected, and not at the standard we expected. The amenities were also disappointing. The pool area lacked any atmosphere—there was no entertainment during our stay, and the pool bar wasn't even open. What was marketed as a lively beachfront resort felt quiet and underwhelming. The beach directly in front of the resort was another major issue. There was a strong odor from dead sea life that had washed ashore, and it did not appear to be cleaned up on a regular basis. It made spending time on the beach much less enjoyable. One of the most telling parts of our stay was speaking with several longtime guests who had been returning to Sirata for more than 10 years. They shared that the property was much better when it was family-owned and that, since it was sold, they've watched it steadily decline. Every one of them expressed disappointment, and several told us they would not be returning. There are certainly positives to the location, but the property itself no longer reflects the experience portrayed in its marketing. We left feeling that the value simply wasn't there, and unfortunately, we won't be returning unless significant improvements are made.

Overall, our stay was pleasant, but I don’t think the hotel offers the best value for the price. The location is definitely the biggest highlight. Being right on the beach is wonderful, and our mini suite with two beds, a sofa bed, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a balcony with an ocean view was comfortable and convenient. However, for a room that cost around $330 per night (before taxes), I expected more. Daily parking is an additional $25 plus tax, and breakfast is not included. While the room was clean and met our basic needs, the overall experience felt average rather than exceptional. That said, this trip was especially meaningful because it was a family reunion. The hotel provided a comfortable place for us to reconnect, share wonderful moments, and enjoy the beautiful beach together. While I would happily return to St. Pete Beach, I would probably choose a different hotel that offers better value for the price.
