Shaker & Peel

I’ve recently become a regular in Oldsmar not too far from Shaker & Peel and we stopped by with friends after an event later in the evening. It wasn’t busy, so we were seated right away, and our server, Isabella E., greeted us pretty quickly. We ordered a variety of dishes ~ chips and guacamole (which had an unusual corn twist), the cauliflower appetizer, “Shrimply Irresistible,” crispy shrimp tacos, lettuce tacos, and a few other items. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. I’m giving 4 stars mainly because of a small service miss. I ordered Pellegrino sparkling water, and it was brought with ice. I politely asked for a glass without ice, but that request was forgotten. After about 15 minutes, I ended up improvising just to enjoy my drink. It wasn’t a huge issue, but attention to details like that really matters ~ especially when it comes to providing the level of service people expect when tipping 20%. The restaurant itself is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the prices are very reasonable, which is a big plus. Despite the minor hiccup, I’d definitely return.

Wonderful lunch experience at Shaker & Peel!! Scarlett was kind and attentive!! Food was delicious! I had the 'unbeetable salad'. Their homemade ricotta is soooo good and with the crunch of crushed pistachios and the freshness of the microgreens, I was in yummmmm heaven! It was also Tuesday so there was a nice shirt Taco Tuesday menu that was offered. I had the flower power...sooooo good 🌮😋

Great place. Sat at the bar which was good because even though they didn’t seem super busy there were a lot of waitresses and waiters serving the customers. Ordered a margarita flight with coconut, strawberry, and capri sun. These were good. Strawberry was good, but the coconut was the best. Got the queso with chorizo as appetizer and it was GREAT. Probably best queso I’ve ever had. I got the ramen and wife got the spicy noodles. Got one grouper taco on the side for use to try as well. All the food was great. Absolutely would go back.

The food was excellent! They have a nice variety of foods and drinks to choose from. Their tacos are perfection. Our server, Alex, was the best and the staff were all very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was great! I’m definitely coming back again very soon.

Shaker and Peel is an awesome spot for a get together with friends and family. The portions are adequate, the food is very tasty and they offer a great variety for all pallets. The Queso Fun-Dido and chips was delicious. Everything we order was delicious. Keep in mind when you are ordering Taco’s you are getting one taco per order. Highly recommended place for all to have a good time.
