Sea Jay Motel

We loved it all but the pool hours could be later to enjoy the beautiful lighted pool after 7pm. Only open 9am to 7pm. Would have been great to hav3 a screen on the front window and be able to open the window in the bedroom. We stayed in until 15. Rene was great, she is the only front desk staff I spoke with and Mario is a great house keep. The place was very clean inside and out. Their sign was damaged during the last hurricane season and I hope they can find someone to refer ish it and keep the retro original style. This apartment style room worked great for our trip and we plan to return! Hopefully the until we get has windows that can be opened and longer pool hours. 😘

I currently stayed at Sea Jays and upon arrival to my room I noticed there were no towels, a broken grate in the bathroom and the blow dryer had been missing. I contacted the front desk and manager David who came to the room and replaced the missing items with a confused look on his face as if I stole them right when I got there. The grate on the wall in the bathroom was down and there was exposed electrical wires but It was no concern of his. After departure I then noticed I was charged a $250 cleaning fee for a stain on the bed sheet and alleged grease all over the walls in the kitchen. Funny thing is I only made eggs once and toast, otherwise I utilized the microwave for popcorn at night and was gone all day and ate out every single day. I was told I was being charged for the maids having to scrub the walls and a stained bed sheet. I do not recommend staying here and if you do please make sure to document and photo the entire room so you don’t have to pay extra for something you didn’t do. Also check the plastic ware dishes they provide as well as the forks, all of it was dirty and there was food left in the fridge which the manager saw and just shook his head. The bed was falling apart and wobbly. It’s as if I was sleeping on a boat (constant rocking every move I made).

Steps away from Treasure Island beach. Friendly, professional, and efficient staff. I was in my room with everything I needed in less than 5 minutes. Incredibly affordable, super clean, great amenities for the price, and a wonderful location!! I would highly recommend the Sea Jay and look forward to my next stay!!

Super cute retro rooms with all of the essential amenities you need for any length of stay. Extremely clean!!! Quiet property, absolutely no smoking or vaping on the property but there is a smoking area just outside the courtyard. The pool is right on the bay which is pretty neat. We will definitely stay here again!

I was a little nervous when we pulled up after dark. But once I got in the room, they are just adorable, everything was super clean. The staff was great and you could walk to the beach in about 5 minutes. I will definitely be staying at this place again.
