RumFish Beach at TradeWinds

Spent 10 days at the RumFish with my son and had an amazing experience! It was our first stay at this hotel, however we have stayed at The TradeWinds Island Grand in the past as well as other ocenfront hotels along St Pete Beach. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was GREAT! Our room was cleaned daily and fresh bath and pool towels were abundant. Other neighboring hotels we have stayed with only clean upon request, it was nice to see how clean everything was kept, despite reading some scary reviews perior to our visit. We enjoyed amenities at both locations and the little coffee shop was a frequent morning stop. The loaction and beach area is one of the best along the beach.

I would definitely recommend staying at the Rumfish Tradewinds! We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days and it was really a great stay. We booked the least expensive room on site online, and asked the concierge for any possible upgrades available when we got there. They upgraded us to a full ocean view with a Juliet balcony and full kitchenette for at least half of what we would have paid had we booked that same room online! This is a large resort with a wide variety of options. There are daily activities scheduled from 7am-10pm. The service everywhere was great- the staff truly do keep the grounds clean and the room was serviced well every day. We had an issue with our shower drain, and within 60-90 minutes of reporting the issue to the front desk, maintenance had it fixed. Though it is an older resort, it still nice, clean, and has everything you would really want for a beach vacation. The restaurants on site are slightly pricey, which is expected, so if you are looking for more value there are plenty of options off the resort for meals. I believe if you are not doing an all-inclusive and are ok with not staying in a brand new place, this is really the best bang for your buck. I am somewhat of a stickler for clean rooms and good amenities and to me, this delivered if you're not looking to go super high-end. Good for couples and families alike! Will definitely be returning!

My stay at RumFish at TradeWinds in St. Pete Beach was fantastic from start to finish. The room I stayed in in the Mahi building was clean, comfortable, and very nice, making it easy to relax after a day at the beach. One of the highlights of my trip was the Cabana Bar. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were excellent, and it was the perfect place to unwind while enjoying the beach vibe. I also had a great experience at RumFish Grill. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the unique aquarium inside the restaurant made for a memorable dining experience. Overall, the staff was welcoming, the property was well maintained, and I had an excellent stay. I would definitely recommend RumFish at TradeWinds to anyone visiting St. Pete Beach, and I'd be happy to stay here again.

We just completed a family trip to Rumfish after a recommendation from our neighbors. We had a great time. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The short walk to the beach was very convenient. There were plenty of chairs and towels available. There were also several pools and hot tubs on property. It was nice to be able to make a short walk over to the Island Grand to utilize their amenities as well. The only things that I wish would be improved upon in the rooms were the TVs and the WiFi connection. The TVs were older and some of them had image issues. The WiFi was buggy and slow. Otherwise, we don't really have too much else to complain about. We made great memories with our family.

Such a gorgeous setting...the beach was great... chairs/umbrellas and cabanas set up and waiting everyday and nice big beach towels, too‼️ Our double queen with kitchenette opened directly over one of the the main pools and tiki bar, overlooking the gulf...it was a beautiful view❣️ We had our children and grandchildren come over and we enjoyed pizza by the pool, and yummy S'mores were served by the fire pits and was a lot of fun. We loved the Rumfish Grill for dinner one night, with the giant aquarium right next to us for ambiance, it was unusually magical. The food and service was terrific, too❣️ Having a bellman completely handle our luggage was also a huge plus, in arriving and departing...we touched nothing - it was fantastic‼️ Rumfish Resort is a place I would love to visit again❣️
