Residence Inn Clearwater Downtown

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable — just a quick 10‑minute drive to Clearwater Beach and about 20 minutes straight to Tampa International Airport. Parking was easy, and getting in and out of the property was always smooth. Our studio room was exceptional. It was spotless, spacious, and came with a full kitchen stocked with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the room and hotel made the stay even better. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Booking was simple, the price was fair, and the value was outstanding. The hotel offers lots of complimentary amenities, including a nice outdoor pool and convenient laundry service on the 2nd floor. The front desk even provides quarters for dollar bills along with complimentary laundry soap and dryer sheets — a small detail that makes a big difference. A special shout‑out to Astrid and Victor for the amazing free breakfast every morning. Even after COVID, the hotel didn’t cut corners or start charging extra. Instead, they went above and beyond to provide a wide variety of fresh options: cooked eggs, waffles, pancakes, bacon, fruit, granola, milk, tea, and more. The breakfast room was clean, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. Their dedication truly stood out. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you for such a great stay — we will definitely consider staying here again.

I had originally planned to stay at the beachfront Residence Inn, but it was fully booked by the time I confirmed my retreat. I’m so glad I chose this location instead. The staff was exceptional, the rooms were spotless, and they made a genuine effort to connect with guests and check in throughout my stay. Parking is complimentary with just a $20 nightly hold, and the beach is only eight minutes away. After full days surrounded by people, it was a true gift to return to such a peaceful, relaxing space to recharge. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making my stay so memorable. I will definitely be back, and I hope this review helps and blesses others. — Chandra

I came with my family and I was suprize how cleaned, organized and in order this place. Great job to the staff 👏 👍 and thank you 😊 🙏 for everything. Congratulations 🎊 I will recommend to everyone here. I love when from the front desk they ask you "do you need anything? ". Thank you 😊 again you guys are fantastic.

Decent price for having two separate king-size bed and a pullout couch, which is very much appreciated since one of our family members snores to the point where he keeps everyone up! So separate bedrooms with separate doors and separate bathrooms were key to us having a great night sleep! Super quiet, could not hear any noise outside or above or below us! Location was decent, but had to Uber to get to places since it was so hot… Although that was expected and not anyone’s fault. Plenty of parking outside, area was decent, so seemed to be safe for us! The only thing I would change is to extend the breakfast hours behind 9 AM during the week if possible, but other than that, we would stay here again in a heartbeat… And this is why we continue to be Marriott Bonvoy members, because we’ve have grown to expect good things with this company.

This hotel is great! Everything is clean and tidy. The best part of my stay was the service - especially the breakfast. Astrid and Ali helped us and had the best energy, were the most helpful with refills and made sure everyone was happy. Will definitely be back!
