Pierogi Grill & Steak House Restaurant

First time visiting the Pierogi Grill in Clearwater a couple of weekends ago. We have passed this restaurant for many years and always want to stop but we haven’t passed when we were ready for lunch or dinner. This day we stopped for dinner and we ordered Dill Pickle Soup($7.99), Cold Cut Platter for 2 ($11.99) which had Kabanoski Sausage, forest sausage, country sausage, wedding sausage, bread and pickle, and 12 Mix Pierogi Plate ($19.99) which had 3 potato and cheddar, 3 potato and farmers cheese, 3 kraut and mushroom and 3 pork. The food is really really good. We were delightfully surprised at how tasty the Dill Pickle soup is. The Pierogis we ordered pan sautéed and they were all very tasty. The Cold Cuts were all really nice too. The decor is fairly dark in black and dark red with alligator print table and booth coverings. There is also a store inside selling a decent selection of candies, canned goods, sausages and frozen pierogi to take home. Service is friendly and as attentive as we wanted. This is a highly recommended place to experience. We can’t wait to return on a future trip to the area.

First time experiencing the Pierogi Grill of Clearwater. We were seated upon entry which was nice. Inside of restaurant has a nice dark intimate atmosphere with plenty of decor to observe when dining. The service was sub-par which was disappointing…it wasn’t very busy, so the service had no reason to be lacking. Other than that, the food looked and tasted great!! Also, an up-charge of $2.00 to pan fry the pierogi vs. boiling them was strange. I would like to try the restaurant again sometime, because all the food we observed looked delicious!! Hopefully the server will be more attentive next time.

This is old school, meaning, it' been around a while so, 4 stars. But don't despair. They have a wonderful selection of Polish goods grocery. If you know what to order, the food is delicious. My cabbage roll was great. The sausage so, so and the meat stew with onions, average. The potato pancakes were unlike any that I've ever had! Pretty good but it will take getting used to.

I just had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time at this incredible Polish restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight into medieval Poland with a full-on Winged Hussar army theme. The decor is absolutely badass – dark wooden beams, flickering lantern-style lighting, massive banners with the Polish coat of arms, and stunning suits of armor and winged hussar helmets displayed like museum pieces. The walls have beautiful murals of historic battles, and they even have pikes and sabers mounted everywhere. It feels like you stepped into a 17th-century Polish szlachta hall. Super immersive and genuinely cool – easily the most unique restaurant atmosphere in the area. But the best part? The food is the real deal. This isn’t some watered-down “Eastern European” place – every dish tastes like authentic Polish home cooking done at the highest level. I went with the classic pierogi (both ruskie and with meat), bigos that was rich and perfectly smoky, and the żurek in a bread bowl – hands down the best sour rye soup I’ve ever had outside of Poland. The portions are generous, everything is fresh, and the flavors are spot-on. You can tell they actually know what they’re doing in the kitchen. The service was warm and friendly, and the whole vibe just makes you want to stay and order more (and maybe have a shot of Żubrówka while you’re at it). Whether you’re Polish, have Polish roots, or just love good hearty food in a setting that feels like a historical adventure, this place delivers on every level. If you’re in Tampa, do yourself a favor and go. 10/10 would return and bring friends. Na zdrowie! 🇵🇱⚔️

First time here. I came in for lunch and had a spectacular meal. It's so authenticlly polish that the nemu has perfect descriptions of the meals. It used to be an Egyptian restaurant, and they didn't change half the decor. The napkin holders are still pyramids. Honestly, it adds a little charm in its own right. A little updating to decor may be due soon. I had the Royal Polish Platter🤌. It came with all the staples to get a true taste of the cuisine. Highly recommended. They also have a market on the side were you can purchase authentic Polish and European good. Including homemade frozen perogies.
