Pasa Tiempo Private Waterfront Resort

This quiet resort is located on the harbor side, not the beach side. Easy access coming across the bridge from St. Petersburg, plenty of restaurants nearby (by car; walkable if you're energetic). Our room had a lovely little patio that got the morning sun, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Plan your pool time for morning unless it's hot weather, as the pool is shady in the afternoons. Staff was friendly and helpful, and sympathetic when it wasn't the kind of issue that was solvable. Downsides: guests smoke on patios/balconies/outdoor areas, which aren't that large. I'd have wanted to know that in advance; it bothered me. And the king mattress in our room was soft and much used, which we found uncomfortable. But if they've fixed that issue, you want room 14. Lovely views and very restful!

Very quaint spot off the bay. Stayed in waterfront presidential unit ( room 12), which is on the ground floor, and has no outdoor patio. There is seating in dock with tables, chairs and loungers. The staff was very kind and attentive. The room was nice, clean and the staff addressed any issue we had. Advertised as a luxury resort, but I think that's a reach. Although it was nice, it did lack what I'd consider luxury items. 2 minutes drive to Upham Beach. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This stay was gifted to me, so it was not something I picked out. The reviews and pictures were good, so I was looking forward to our stay. We arrived on Saturday and the first thing I said when walking in the room was “it smells awful”. We were in room 16 top floor and the room smelled so bad we had to open the window to try and air it out. They did not work well. I’m sure the smell was from the dirty carpet. The pool was dirty, not cleaned the 2 days we were there. We had to pay a $25 resort fee, for what??? A pool which every hotel has and probably cleans. No umbrellas on tables, no faucet water on deck where you can fish. Grounds were unkept and fountain water turning green. No ice in ice maker at any point. I would not go back and recommend to anyone I know. They need to get rid of the carpet in the rooms and clean it up! They need to pay attention to the details!! We ended up leaving a day early we couldn’t stand the smell!!!

This small waterfront boutique resort is seriously the ultimate hidden gem of Tampa Bay. Everything was phenomenal from the rooms to the staff to the stunning views from the pool and private dock. I had roses and rose pedals delivered that day and the staff took care of the delivery and set the flowers up beautifully in our room. Neither her or I could have asked for a better location and resort to spend our special night and weekend. Thank you Pasa Tiempo staff for taking care of us so well and helping make everything perfect. We couldn’t be more happy and will be back every year for weekend getaways.

Spent our one year wedding anniversary here. The employees were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Loved being right on the water and enjoying the scenery. However, what really ruined it for us was the size of the room. The king size bed was too big for the space. It was too close to the bathroom entrance on one side and too close to the wall on the other side. There were two bulky chairs and a small table that took up the rest of the room. There was literally no space for us to put our stuff. The bathroom was so tiny and the shower was only half enclosed, so water sprayed all over the ground when we showered. The room was definitely too small to accommodate more than one person. We were ready to get out of that cramped room when it was time to check out.
