What Visitors Love
First time. Great service, great food, overall good time. We had the snow crab legs and love how they prep them. Chicago oysters were awesome too. Kids plate was a healthy portion and loved the fact they had 0.0 beer to offer for those who don't consume alcohol. Will be coming back with bigger stomachs. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by.
We were seated right away. We arrived around 4:30pm on a Tuesday. It was perfect timing because the dinner rush soon arrived. Our waitress was wonderful. Our appetizers were so good. We got the calamari and crab cake. I highly recommend both. Pricing was to be expected for a seafood restaurant. Everyone enjoyed their food. It came out hot and fresh. We were visiting from out of town and this is somewhere we would return if we come back to the area.
I debated giving Crabby Bill's 3 or 4 stars but settled on 4. The actual original restaurant building is gone. The new building and dining setup is more conventional. Since I was hoping to visit the old, more rustic and unique place, it wasn't what I'd had in mind. But if you never ate at the old place, you wouldn't care about that. They do have some of the original decorations and many of the staff wear the "Don't Worry, Be Crabby" shirts. The food and service were good, the portions modest but not skimpy. Our server was helpful with suggestions and the prices seemed typical for a resort town. There is a separate bar-style service area. My impression was that the full menu is available there, but check if that's important. They seem to have live music nightly.
Came for lunch with my son and Mother — the food and service was perfect, literally. Came hot and fresh, seasoned delicious. We had Sandy as our server, she did an amazing job tending to us, we didn’t have to sit around waiting for her on anything. Highly recommend!
Food was AMAZING and the crab cakes legit! Solid margarita, and the fries perfection. Christian was our server, and he was awesome! Went above and beyond, connecting people across the restaurant with common places to visit etc. and opening the conversation. 1000/10 for our first stop after traveling!
