While vacationing in Florida, my wife and I had the opportunity to attend a Tampa Bay Rays game after securing tickets through VetTix, and the experience exceeded our expectations. George M. Steinbrenner Field may not be a traditional Major League ballpark, but it is an outstanding facility that the Rays are fortunate to temporarily call home. The stadium is clean, well-maintained, and offers an intimate baseball atmosphere that allows fans to feel close to the action. Concessions were excellent, with a solid variety of food options, quick service, and, most importantly on a warm Florida afternoon, cold beer readily available. The overall environment felt welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely focused on the fan experience. What made the visit especially meaningful for me as a lifelong Yankees fan was the rich history surrounding the ballpark. Walking past the New York Yankees plaques displayed outside the stadium felt like a walk down memory lane, honoring decades of baseball greatness and adding a unique historical dimension to the visit. Overall, George M. Steinbrenner Field delivers a memorable and enjoyable baseball experience. Whether you’re a Rays supporter, a Yankees fan appreciating the venue’s legacy, or simply a baseball lover looking for a great night at the ballpark, this stadium is well worth the visit.

First time here and came with my dad. I flew out from Japan and he came from NY State. the price was awesome! $10 for a double header tonight, the food was normal and the game was good. so why 4 stars and not 5? BECAUSE, the music. this was supposed to be family friendly event (kids everywhere) And there were multiple songs blasting with swearing in it and talking about sex. clearly club songs and not really something I was expecting my dad to be hearing when we sat down to watch a nice game.

Been to 5 ball parks and this is the biggest. The concourses are covered and with the wind makes a great place to stay out of the sun. If needed, there are 6 lifts handicapped and the lifts have an operator. Plan your parking before you turn up. Nearest parking outside the stadium is $30 and we left early and there were still spaces in the car park.

My wife and I flew down to Tampa (thank you TSA folks for coming to work while not getting paid) to see a Yankee spring training game against Baltimore. Steinbrenner Field is a fun venue--every seat is a fine view, the fans are there for a good time, and the weather is a lot more reasonable than up north. Did I miss it, or is it true--there is not obnoxious music drowning out any attempt at conversation between innings. There are some special effects, but not intrusive. And the ground crew dancing to YMCA during the seventh inning stretch is a treat. There is plenty of parking, but we found a spot on MLK Jr Blvd for ten bucks, a few blocks from the field. Easy in and especially out. So it's great fun, except for two things. Judge struck out three times, and the hot dogs must be dipped in warm water, because the ain't hot or cooked. Go for the peanuts! Cheers!

What a stunning field! This was my first time here, attending a pancreatic cancer walk, and I was so impressed. The grounds are gorgeous and the atmosphere was perfect. A 5-star experience for sure
