Moxy St. Pete

My wife and I went to Downtown St Pete to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we chose to stay at the Moxy for the location and because it’s part of Marriott we were able to use points to stay. Overall the room we stayed in was nice, a bit more modern then we were used to and pretty small but we were not stay for longer then two nights so it wasn’t an issue for us. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and very nice from the front staff to the valet. Everyone did their part to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The pool on the rooftop was a bit small, more for just hanging out than for swimming but the vibe was good. The view was cool as we could see Tropicana Field right across the way. The area has enough restaurants and shopping to make the weekend a worthwhile trip and very close to the Pier which we got to enjoy for the first time since it’s was built. Living in Florida since 2006, we had never truly been to the area other than for attending Rays games and heading right out so to experience the area recently was a treat. The only set back I would say was our experience with the cafe staff on Sunday morning. They seemed bothered and annoyed and I thought it wad just us, but I witnessed the same attitude towards others as well. Not sure what the issue was but we didn’t let it ruin our overall experience. For anyone just looking for a nice getaway for a weekend, I would recommend the Moxy as it’s in the perfect location to enjoy the area.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I absolutely had to for this experience. My best friend and I stayed here for her birthday, and from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Bianca went above and beyond to help me plan the perfect birthday surprise. She made sure every detail was taken care of, and thanks to her, my best friend’s celebration was truly unforgettable. I also have to give a special shoutout to Michael from valet.( so sorry if I got the wrong name) 😓 He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. It’s rare to come across people who are so naturally warm and attentive, and his positive attitude truly added to our experience. The hospitality throughout the entire hotel was exceptional. The property was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly welcoming. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make our stay special. From the birthday decorations to the cleanliness, atmosphere, valet service, and overall guest experience, everything was absolutely amazing. Thank you for helping create such wonderful memories for us. We left feeling celebrated, cared for, and already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommend!

10/10 recommend this hotel! We love the Moxy hotels and this lived up to our expectations! Charlie was absolutely amazing upon check in and had the best recommendations. He made us feel welcome right off the bat. The rooms were clean and the rooftop pool was fabulous! Highly recommend staying here if you are in the St. Pete area!

We had an fantastic stay at the Moxy. The vibe is fun, eclectic, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The rooms could use a little extra space to lay your things out and a real closet would definitely be helpful, but the beds and pillows are super comfy. We thought that the overall atmosphere was fun and upbeat...And then there was Caroline. We met her at the pool bar first and later again at the lobby bar, and she was consistently amazing both times. She is so sweet, always smiling, and truly a breath of fresh air. Her positive energy made us feel genuinely welcome and completely taken care of. It’s obvious she genuinely enjoys what she does, and meeting her absolutely elevated our entire stay. Moxy is lucky to have her, and we’ll absolutely be back hoping she’s the one behind the bar again.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Moxy St. Petersburg! We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday weekend, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The biggest highlight, though, was the incredible hospitality from Rene and Mackenzie. They were genuinely warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like more than just guests. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail turned a great stay into an unforgettable birthday celebration. The Moxy has such a fun atmosphere, a fantastic location, and an amazing team. Rene and Mackenzie are a true reflection of what exceptional hospitality looks like, and they are a huge reason we’ll be coming back.
