Miss Pass-a-Grille Deep Sea Fishing

We didn’t catch anything crazy, but we still caught fish (snapper) and had a good time. The crew were great. They had water and bathrooms available for you. Evan cut and cleaned the fish, which was fun to watch. The captain made sure to move the boat if the fish disappeared. They were so organized. Bait cut and ready to go. Helped you bait and remove fish. Were enthusiastic. It was a good day. We would definitely do it again. The price is very reasonable as well.

I took my son today on the 5-hour morning half-day charter and we had a blast! We caught a full string of Grey Snapper (Grunts) and they cook up to make some tasty fried fish tacos if you've never tried them. The crew was great, very positive environment. They encouraged and cheered on everyone. The boat was clean and orderly. This is a near-shore charter, so manage expectations. A majority of your catch will be Grey Snapper due to water depths and time constraints. There were quite a few red grouper caught on our charter, but all under legal keeping size (a few were just barely under). Of course, the time of year will matter. In cooler months, bigger red grouper and hogfish will move closer to shore and certainly be possible on this half-day. But it was a very warm summer day with warmer water for our trip. They do offer a longer-range, full-day charter on certain days of the week. I highly recommend this charter.

Sorry for the late review but this has been one tired mama! The fishing trip was so much fun fir my husband's 35th birthday but what made it better was that the captain and Crew helped me with my pregnancy announcement to him! They were so excited and are big family people. Definitely will be going again!

We had a beautiful day with Miss Pass A Grille Fishing! Captain John and the crew are some of the friendliest I’ve been out with — super laid back, incredibly helpful, and flexible with our group of six all day long. They even baited my hook and took my fish off for me (which I fully appreciate 😄), making it easy and fun for everyone onboard. We fished in about 30–50 feet of water and brought up an awesome mixed bag: red grouper, gags, grunts, flounder, sheepshead, and a few other bonus catches. Plenty of action and plenty of laughs. If you’re looking for a fun, friendly, no-stress day on the water, this is your crew. We’ll be back!

We had an amazing experience with Miss Pass A Grille! Captain John & Evan were incredibly friendly, kind, and so knowledgeable about the best fishing spots. They were especially great with the kids—hands-on, patient, and made sure everyone had fun and felt involved. On our way back, we were treated to an incredible dolphin show that was the perfect ending to an already fantastic trip. You can truly feel the sense of family and tradition they carry on, just like Captain Randy always did. If you’re looking for a deep sea fishing adventure, Miss Pass A Grille is the way to go!
