I was looking forward to story time with my granddaughter, who just turned one. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem to understand that babies and toddlers aren’t going to sit still and stay quiet. It was a bit ridiculous, and we won’t be returning or recommending this place. I found them to be very rude and inexperienced with both toddlers and people in general.
Really nice library in a great location downtown. Not huge but nice selection of books, good computer room, and get copies made or print outs for a really good deal.
There was a very kind gentleman that helped set us up with library cards, museum passes, and answered all our questions 😀 also a very big library (1st one ive been to thats this big) 🫣 and security was kind when asking about our service animal 👍🏽
This place is a beautiful historic site that needs to SERIOUSLY clean house of the homeless that take up computers and sit in front of bookshelf's so basically it's useless as a library
Nice library. Librarian are friendly and helpful. People talk about homeless. I have been there several times. And homeless do not bother anyone. They are there to read or study. Great selection of books. I didn't go until I ignored the negative comments of friends. Happy I went and now have books to read I live downtown and this is a perfect location for me.
