Mazzaro's Italian Market

Finally made it to Mazzaro's Italian Market. 😋 I picked up the grouper po' boy, and I have to say... it was hella delicious. It definitely lived up to the hype! What I wasn't expecting was just how busy it would be. Apparently everyone else had the same idea I did. 😅 The place was absolutely packed, and parking took a little patience, so keep that in mind if you're planning a visit. Even with the crowds, I had a great time wandering around. I spent most of my time in the deli, but next time I want to explore more because this place is huge. They have a wine room, a coffee bar, fresh roasted coffee, handmade pastas, specialty cheeses, incredible baked goods, and all kinds of gourmet Italian goodies. I can definitely see why Mazzaro's is considered one of Tampa Bay's favorite culinary destinations. I'll absolutely be back, and next time I'm giving myself plenty of time to explore everything.

As someone who’s still pretty new to the area, I’ve driven past Mazzaro’s so many times but never had the chance to stop in until today. I had an appointment across the street, turned down the side street on my way home, and figured it was finally time to check it out. I’m so glad I did. The energy in this place is incredible. Everyone was genuinely welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in. The architecture and religious décor give it so much character. It honestly felt like I had stepped into Italy. You almost forget you’re even in Florida. The woman working in the bakery was especially helpful. I really wish I had asked for her name because she gave me great recommendations and made the experience even better. The selection is amazing, everything looks incredibly fresh, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of what they offer. This is more than just a market. It’s an experience. I can’t recommend Mazzaro’s enough, and I’ll definitely be back.

What a beautiful experience for this Italian American lady from New Haven CT. I've never seen anything like it here in Tampa Bay. The staff was friendly and fast considering the amount of customers in and out of there. There's fresh baked goods, pastries and cookies. Omg the rugulah was delicious both apricot and raspberry. The prepared food was selling fast and the meat counter couldn't have looked better. I have definitely found my new favorite place. They have tables outside for dining and a double parking lot. Both the lots and tables were full on a Monday. A very busy place for tourists and locals. They have enough people working and I was very impressed with the organization. It could be chaotic but it's definitely worth a few minutes of waiting in line. I'm in Palm Harbor and It's worth the drive for great products at good prices.

Extremely crowded and the food line is very very long. It's a great place to grab authentic italian ingredients, but I wouldn't recommend for a bigger group. Definitely a staple cultural st Pete spot. The sandwich ordering method can be confusing if it's your first time- sandwiches are great. The bread is so fresh and flavorful- they're not too loaded but definitely filling.

It was absolutely fabulous. Cheese, sausage, wine, coffee, and a bakery. They have wine tastings as well. So many cheeses to choose from. They even have buffalo milk mozzarella cheese. It was beautiful 😭. Got the cannole cake. The cream was great! Cake itself was average. My husband loved it! Also got their tiramisu donut. Again loved the cream. Quality and variety of meats and pastas were amazing. Everything was reasonably priced. Didn't have one of their sandwiches, but heard and saw that it was quite good. Something to note: each section has a ticket to take for order. Grab a ticket and wait for your number to be called. Its worth it. They are pretty well staffed so line does not take unreasonable long for the amount of customers present. Like a little piece of Europe. 100% recommend
