Best meal I've enjoyed in ages. Service was top notch. Our server, Chris, was excellent. He knew every detail about all the offerings on the menu... very attentive and courteous. And of course the Don Cesar was as beautiful as every. Perfect meal to top off a perfect day on St Pete beach

Surprisingly, the best meal we have ever had. We were staying at the Don Cesar and planned to try Maritana. The decor is quietly simple, but well done. Our waiter Don “Not the owner of the hotel“ 😊 was charming and knowledgeable about the menu. We appreciated his professionalism. He advised dining in courses, a cold course followed by a warm course, and then dinner, and perhaps dessert if we were so inclined. The first dish was a peach and beet salad over a creamy cheese topped with thinly shaved leeks. Every bite was delicious. The second course was a white asparagus soup with a bit of lobster and other small flavorful bites. We shared these courses and Don split the plates for us before serving, and again we remarked how delicious each bite was… For dinner my husband had bass with a deeply favorable sauce and I had the snapper with fish stew sauce. Three courses that were absolutely perfect with rich flavors that were skillfully created. Yes, this was in fact the best meal we had ever tasted. We compared it to other fine dining experience experiences and truly this was number one. Finally, we shared a very light strawberry mousse over citrus crumbles. Dinner was lovely, surprising, and absolutely delicious. And a thank you to Don as well!

Maritana Went in for my wife’s Birthday, our server Don helped us tour the menu. We tried the Burrata, Blue Crab Tortellacci, NY Strip feature and Main Lobster. All the food was delicious! Can’t wait to go back!
