A gorgeous two-mile recreational trail winds through a pine flatwoods area, popular for jogging, hiking, biking and rollerblading. A public boat ramp and piers provide opportunities for freshwater fishing during park hours. Lake Seminole Park is a designated wildlife habitat and sanctuary. Thirteen picnic shelters are also available for public usage. For shelter reservations go to www.pinellascounty.org/parks and select the link to make your reservation on line with a credit card or call 727.582-2100 (select 0 from phone menu).  This park is closed the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas day.

“Great Family Park”

I took my son there when he was young to play in the playground and walk around. Nice hiking trail and we would watch aligators and turtles in the lake as well as see a rabbit or tortious walking...
