La V

An exceptionally good meal; the flavor combinations were outstanding, the veggies and herbs were fresh, and the meat and seafood were cooked perfectly. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Pot Stickers and the La V Vermicelli Bowl and both were extremely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it felt like they enjoyed working there. I sat outside and never felt forgotten. I told my server how extra good the food was and he said it’s a bunch of Vietnamese grandmothers cooking, so everything that comes out of the kitchen is great. As an added bonus the plating was aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommend this restaurant; if I’m in the city again I would definitely come back!

This is a nice restaurant for decent Vietnamese meal. I enjoyed the short rib Pho. The others in my party had the La V salad and a shrimp soup 🍲 . We also had bao buns (delicious).

Fell in LOVE with this place!! "FRESH" is the word I'd use to describe the food — from the greens to the proteins. It has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The owner, Thuy, was super nice and truly has a heart for this place + the food she serves to her guests. The portions were huge and I definitely left feeling super full with leftovers for the next day. I recommend the spring rolls and vermicelli noodles, especially the chicken. I can't express enough how fresh and light this dish tasted. Highly recommend!!

Downtown St. Petersburg is a beautiful place to live, work, and play, and much of that charm comes from the unique character the city radiates. Few places capture that spirit better than La V Vietnamese Fusion. La V is one of those special places that brings warmth, friendliness, and comfort to everyone who walks through its doors. The owner, Thuy, welcomes guests as if they were entering her own home. The food is flavorful and authentic, and the prices are very reasonable—especially the lunch specials. As our city continues to grow, we risk losing some of the character that makes downtown so special. Growth is important, but it shouldn’t come at the cost of the places that helped shape our community. We need places like La V Vietnamese Fusion. Without them, we risk losing the very essence of what makes St. Petersburg, Florida such a wonderful place to live, work, and play. 🌴✨

This was my first time here, and I was so impressed! The pho was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for amazing Vietnamese food.
